=D glad you guys like it.

 

I have to re do the torso weighing... Xform error again, due to the fact that I had used symmetry while mapping on top of the skin modifier... silly me. I'm just going to copy the same weighing as before so he should be in game tomorrow.

 

I do have alsight problem that I will need some help on:

taunts.

 

Since right now he is a custom model type, I think there can be only one taunt associated with the model. In this case. It has grayfox's sounds. Does anyone kow how I can assign more than one sound folder for a custom model type.

 

Also... suggestions on the taunts! I've been warping all around KOTOR cutscenes for screenshots, but I haven't found THE line that he mutters that would be great for a taunt. Suggestions?

I have not started on the samurai yet bc I was trying to get at least malak done. He's up next though.

Make each varient a folder

 

models\players\malak

models\players\malak_cover

sound\chars\malak\misc

sound\chars\malak_cover\misc

 

You got the point.

He's in game and working fine as far as I can see.

tFighterPilot, I don't see how I could do that and also still have all the different heads and torsos being selectable through the custom player interface. Every folder means a seperate player race (as far as I know) so I'm stumped.

Great job! Just to let you know the SITH mod is coming along great, and in that case now after I'm done with Exar Kun's sith wars, I'll start on these guys next. again GREAT JOB!

 

 

 

 

P.S. Wondring what SITH mod is? Its a total conversion of the game which is coming along nicely. Of course I have no modelrs so its all skinning and mapping right now, id love to have any modeler avaliable to join our SITH team. Thanks. For more info

Light Ninja, I'll see if I release malak apart from the rest. however, if would take away a big part of the variety that he pack has to offer. I don't plan on releasing betas. I'll be sending you and Insane sith (as well as other skinners interested in skinning the model) the current version which includes the updated grayfox, malak, sword/katana models/sabers but I don't want to have multiple releases. I think the skinners will be able to beta test the model just fine.

Well, this is from someone who's never played the game, but from the trailers I've seen, he's said a few good lines.

 

"This is but a taste of the dark side."

 

"You are strong, child, but I will break you!"

 

Either one of those would be good. Maybe you could edit the second one though, so that he says:

 

"You are strong...but I will break you!"

 

Just some ideas.

I agree, those would be perfect.

 

He also says "you are weak" when you show forgiveness in the first encounter.

 

As for the multiple sounds/species, i have never done it myself and dunno if it's possible at all.
