Nerd_Annhilator Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 Computer & information science and Media Arts
MennoniteHobbit Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 Euchre and Chess (seriously!), Piano Keyboarding, and a Gateway to Tech class. Don't even ask me what the last one is. You probably have never heard of it before. Yet it is cool. Going to be at least.

Guest Jed Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 This year, the electives I've taken so far are American Music Theatre and History of Rock Music. For the rest of the year, I took Physics and Pre-Calculus as an elective so I don't have to take it next year :X
Phatty Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Im taking shop We have history of rock and roll but its one of those mini courses that only lasts for a week or so that freshman sophmores and seniors can take while the juniors study for the ACT I believe Its awesome I took it last year as a freshman
Rogue15 Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Originally posted by IG-64 That sounds intelligent. it was. I'm no longer in school. did my 12, got my GED (yeah damn homeschooling screwed me over there....) and now i'm working full time, and not because of my education. because i WORK and don't **** around like everybody else.
Boba Rhett Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 You consider school to be, "****king around"? They go to school now so they can work later and actually making a living wage from doing so.

Ya know, just because you're homeschooled doesn't mean that you can't get a diploma. They have correspondence high schools that let you graduate with a diploma and you don't have to do a stinking GED. I took one out of Scranton, PA, got to work at my own pace, graduate a year before most kids, and I've got a diploma. Now, I realize that this doesn't help you much now, but there are enough homeschooled kids around here that it should really be mentioned. If anyone wants more info, just drop me a PM. And about electives: American Literature PC Specialist Catering/Gourmet Cooking World Geography English Communication
Rogue15 Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 no. I'm not referring to the kids who are IN school. i'm talking about half the idiots who are just out of school who don't do a good job, and don't get reprimanded for slacking.
Boba Rhett Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Stinking GED? Ouch, Lady Jedi. I did get the highest score in Iowa

Did he do well on the GED?

ImmolatedYoda Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 I pity da fool dat says **** da school! Not really, I just thought that sounded cool. Anyway, I'm a senior in high school taking AP Computer Science (most likely going to take the AB exam) and Latin III. I've basically only taken languages and tech classes as electives in high school...Spanish II-IV, German I, Latin I-II (well, only one semester of each). And then Keyboarding and Intro to Tech IA if you count those as tech classes .
