The only force power selection I never got was one for first level. I used this mod long before some of the other padawan mods. I only had first level force power selection unavailable. Which K2 has the same issue as far as force powers go. Your 2nd level before you get your first powers in K2.

 

As to the feat selection the only one that ever mattered to me was weapon specialization. So I just start as a Jedi guardian then switch to Jedi counselor on Dantoine. In K1 it was rare for me to even take the armor proficiencies.

They all use spells.2da as far as I recall. TSL initially has the wrong audio being used for Force Crush, that's why all the mods out actually change the entry to the correct sound..

No, it's supposed to be like a plain black mask like those counter terrorists where. Not the sith assassins on peragus.

 

It's a very simple reskin. Oh and make sure the teeth aren't visible as well. It defeats the purpose as a mask.

I have a mod request. TSL is supposed to be a much darker game than KOTOR, and has some very dark music. The only problem is that the dark music isn't used enough. What I hope someone can take the time out to do is:

 

Replace the music of the first two areas in Onderon with the Dxun music.

 

Replace the area with Dhagon Ghent's and the Cantina's music with the Harbinger music.

 

Replace the Ravager bridge music with the Darth Nihilus theme music.

 

Replace the Royal palace music with the Sith tomb music.

 

Replace the Khoonda planes, Khoonda, and Enclave courtyard music with the Sion music.

 

Replace the music from the area on the Harbinger where you meet Sion with the Sion's theme music.

 

Replace the Enclave sublevel music with the Sith music.

 

Replace all areas on Peragus (excpet the Harbinger areas) with the Sith academy music.

 

Replace the Trayus Core music with the Kreia's dark theme music.

 

Replace all Citadel Station music with the Darth Traya's music.

 

Replace the first two areas of Telos' surface music with the Dxun theme music.

 

Thank you for taking the time to read my request. I hope someone can make it. I have tried myself to make this mod several times, unsuccessfuly.

Well no one is up to the challenge(if it can be called challenge) .

 

I thought that Modders were real Vader's fans , Obviousely i was wrong .

Sorry my bad i should'nt request an high challenging mod like a cloak :doh:

I'm sure somebody is working on this already, but the Savegame Editor that I downloaded for KOTOR 1...is just brilliant! Thanks to all who created it!

My request is - when is the one for KOTOr 2 coming out?!?!?! :laughing:

 

The reason I ask is because I loved being able to modify my character EXACTLY how I'd like him and not have to restrict him to classes.

KOTOR 2 is a great game and the Prestige classes are really something to be admired, but I'm just plain lazy and would like to have my character have all the GOOD stuff when I want him to.

 

I prefer to play the game as a Light Side character (sucker for happy endings) but i can't get enough of the Dark Side Force powers - Force Kill being my favourite next to Force Storm, in both games!

When I first saw Force Crush - man oh man! I REALLY wanted my lightside character to have THAT! Of course that's impossible in normal gameplay.

 

If anyone can make a mod that allows you to gain those powers for a LS character (or even better release a Savegame Editor for KOTOR 2) it would really expand on the replayability of the game.

Firstly you only posted the request 2 days ago. This type of mod is no where near simple. Seprithro has been working on a cloaked PC however there are alot of problems with it still. The biggest problem is animations. We do not have the Model animation format cracked in the least bit. We barely have the model format cracked enough to import simple models such as lightsabers, placeables, guns, & helmets. If you will notice when reading this thread many of us respond but do not commit ourselves to doing a mod immediately. It sometimes takes us a few days to mull it over. Or we hint that we are already all over the idea.

Have you followed the thread for KSE. Because the current version supports both kotor 1 and 2 and has since almost a week and a half after the release of TSL. It does helkp to peruse the forums first before requesting something as is recomended on the first page by T7 when he typed up the rules for this thread.

Adding a cloak to a model is easy enough for anyone skilled with GMAX, or a comparable program. The problem is the animation. The reason that none of the Vader mods have cloaks is because when the character moves, the feet "clip", or stick out, the back.

 

The in game robes do not do this because the developers animated them to move with the feet. The developers have all the source codes to do anything they want with the game. The modders have not "cracked" it yet, if it can be done. (Mr. Tetra?)

 

Sorry to disappoint you, but it would be much more difficult than you relize to add a realistic cloak to a model.:cool:

As Darkkender said, the current version supports both games. They did not release it as KotOR 2 save game editor. Rather, they updated KotOR save game editor at pcgamemods * so it was compatible with both games. It took me a while to acually try the link for it under KotOR 1,but thats where it is. I'm not sure why they did not move it to K2, though. Same link , but updated :cool:

I've just had an idea : I don't know if it's been done before, or if it would even look cool in game, but what about an infra-red lightsaber crystal ?

It would just be a faint red glow, if at all visible; and it would have some energy damage replaced by heat damage...

 

This is not really a request, but merely a suggestion to modders.

The same concept could work for many non-visible wave-lenghts (UV, gamma-rays, x-rays...)

Well, who here remembers a user was changing the Revan Robes?

He kinda mixed it with the new Robes that came with TSL so it would have the look of a cape instead of the stiff cape from before.

Well I haven't seen and can't find that topic and I would like to know if he released it already or if he does plan on releasing it.

ok I've played thourgh with force crush and realized it seems a bit over powered I was wondering if some one could make a force crush like power that is a universal power it still uses 50 fp maxed but tone it down and make it selectable to all classes cuz I hate being evil to get it you could add a crunch FX with it though

I'm not sure if it is possible, but can quarterstaffs be modified so that they don't retract into the centre (so they would stay in the combat position)? A piece of metal or wood doing that doesn't really make sense. Besides, they look better at full size.
