The Source
A lot of people have been praising your progress, but there have not been any screenshots. Except the recent 'one'. I am in full support of your agenda. However, do you have anything to show? For the past nine months, I have been in flux of supporting you goys. After reading your progress, we haven't seen any screenshots. Your W.I.P. is full of discriptions and such, but you haven't really shown any visual evidence of your work. Could we get some screenshots and links? In this thread if possible? How can people praise your work when there is nothing to attract our curiosity? Usually, modder place screens. Like myself, I usually leave preview shots, which advertise and lure people into downloading or getting involved. Do you people have anything like that? Besides that 'one' screen? Edit::Added: I also posted this over at Obsidian Ent. I wasn't sure where you people leave feedback information. Edit::Added: I just noticed the screens from April and May, but that is still too old. Any more 'recent' shots? Someting that shows your progress since those last screens? I wonder how many people would like to see more screens? rgdelta
I would rather them finish then do screens imho.
90SK
I wonder how many people would like to see more screens? I don't care, really. I mean, it's nice to have a visual, but I'd hate to spoil the suprise. The few that have been released are enough. However, do you have anything to show? Well, sure. There are still WIP updates, and the bug reports by beta testers. Have you read those reports? There’s certainly enough there to keep me excited. Unlike other mods, the TSLRP has been tighter about releasing details about content, you know? Makes it better when you play again. Besides, we already know for most of what's being implemented anyway. It isn't like they aren't doing any real work just because they don't have a multitude of screenshots to prove it. dede_frost
I'm really looking forward for the release, and I can see in your site, you come up with like 3 builds every month!!! Your progress is just amazing!! I just wanted to know if this will modify the executable file (*.exe)... if anyone knows

Dashus
I'm fairly certain that releasing a modified version of the exe would violate the EULA. So, no we won't.
Darkkender
For the most part you shouldn't have to touch the ".exe" anyways. There are enough moddable resources that effect the overall game as a whole that if we can ever break the barrier of the different file formats and how to change them then we would be in hog heaven. *Keep those fires burning Cchagrin & Fred*

huntersquid
Don't rush it! We don't want a TSL release! Take your time if it means that you will make it its best! BTW, will this be compatible with the 1.0b update? I couldn't find any details in your FAQ
Elven6
hunter the ironic thing is its took longer to restore the game then it did to make it LOL!!! Well keep up the good work
Det. Bart Lasiter
hunter the ironic thing is its took longer to restore the game then it did to make it LOL!!! Well keep up the good work Obsidian had the luxury of a toolset, first-hand knowledge of the game engine and the ability to change the engine though. The TSLRP probably wouldn't even exist if Obsidian had the same time constraints as the TSLRP ("it's finished when it's finished"). Don't rush it! We don't want a TSL release! Take your time if it means that you will make it its best! BTW, will this be compatible with the 1.0b update? I couldn't find any details in your FAQ If dialog.tlk has any strings added to it then I'd guess you couldn't install the 1.0b patch over the TSLRP. I remember trying to patch KotOR with a modified dialog.tlk file, only to have the patcher decide it didn't "like" the strings added to the end of dialog.tlk and not install the patch. General Kenobi
I think it a bit sad and hilarious that us modders here, more to the point people like: T7Nowhere, Svösh, ChAiNz.2da, Darth333 and others have more modding talent IMHO than the creators did creating the game in the first place. Just look at USM and the detail that went in. My god those folks integrated their mod better than the creators integrated the storyline, now that's saying something I think to the talent. Look at Stoffe's High Level Force Powers that are MUCH MORE creative and fun than the games originals. Sometimes I just standback and wonder at what does go on on LucasForums in the creative gaming depts. This particular mod in regards to the games FINAL "finish" by modders is soooo looked forward to it will be the release of the year NO DOUBT in my mind. Those Gizka lovers sure deserve credit from all I've seen so far. Hats off to you folks.

Those Gizka lovers sure deserve credit from all I've seen so far. Hats off to you folks. TSL Restoration Team is restoring another person's concept and idea. They are pulling together bits and pieces. There is nothing creative in what they are doing. Mods such as USM and Stoffe's High Level Force Powers are designed from the modder's own creative intrest. You can't compare creativity to restoration. In my humble opinion, I would have more respect for them if they were creative and original. All they are doing is following someone else's outline, and they are not developing there own concept. I look forward to the final release, but after seeing what others have done here at LucasForums.com, I have to say this mod is going to fall short in creativity and originality. I am compairing this mod to: Chainz.2da's Kreia Clothes. Anything that Redhawk has done. Anything that GSCCC has atempted or done. Darth333's 'Learning New Force Powers' Etc... The above are all original in concept, style, and cognitive execution. The TSL: Restoration Project is based upon 90% of someone elses concept and creativity. Following someone else's outline is easy. Coming up with an original idea that breaks free from someone else's work is creative and inspiring. Don't get me wrong. I am looking forward to its release, but I am more intrested in the other creative ideas that these forums have created and have yet to come up with. I would have liked Obsidian Ent. to have restored this content.
Darth InSidious
Maybe so, but that by no means diminsihes the truly gargantuan effort that this mod is.
