The Sam & Max shorts will be really quick animated shorts put together by the Sam & Max dev team using in-engine tools. Basically the gaming equivilent of a newspaper comic strip. Gametap seems like a clueless money hungry company that's just using Sam and Max as a new fad to make money. That being said, if I was living in america I'd probably give in.... Now that YouTube is owned by Google they are really going to be cracking down on that kind of stuff. They will even block your homemade video now if you have copyrighted music in it. I have the available VHS-tapes, and I'd like to know how the quality of those GameTap-streams holds up. Given that they'll (hopefully) show the episodes that are missing from the tapes as well, and they become "available" outside of the US someway or the other...
