BattleDog
I would say around 35, give or take two or three years. Reven was around 28 in KOTOR and Exile would probably be 2 years either side of that. Also remember Jedi have a very intensive education. I suspect the Exile was a Guardian and they seem to get "Officer Training," based on Revan and Kavaar anyway.
JediKnight707
I figure around 25-35. He seems to be old, but it seems its more on the head you choose.
Hallucination
About 3,000 years old. Healthy living, you know?....Wait thats Revan;). I agree with most people here, around 30-35.
Darth333
I figure around 25-35. He seems to be old, but it seems its more on the head you choose. lol you call that old? the mandalorian wars were 10 yrs before K2 and the exile was a general...a 15 yrs old general would not have had much credibility... ChAinZ, Redhawke, Prime, did you hear? We're old !
rgdelta
Yeah I would say the exile was 35-40ish no younger then maybe
RedHawke
I'd say just slightly older than this. Probably late 30's/early 40's. Figure he/she was about 30 during the Mandalorian Wars (any younger and "General" seems implausable), about 10 year later, blah blah blah, and there you are. I'll go with Achilles on this one... ChAinZ, Redhawke, Prime, did you hear? We're old ! Harumph!
ChAiNz.2da
ChAinZ, Redhawke, Prime, did you hear? We're old ! * Holds up the "sound horn" to his ear * ehh? What'd ya' say? Gadz.. small type! I have to go find my 3 inch thick glasses ------------ topic related: Yah, I'd say around mid 30's to lower 40's. Even Mira 'hints' that the Exile is an older gent (male PC attempting a romance). Though I really appreciate the Devs including the dialogue option.. "Hey, I'm not that old!".. hehehe... I'm 32/33 (B-day soon), and I'm not about to start digging my grave just yet... Hell, even if I work another 'lifetime' (read 33 years) I still can't legally retire.. I'd say the Exile is a mature fellow/lady, but not quite ready to resign to the House with a white picket fence
BattleDog
I still think 40 is a bit old, considering the "young" Jedi went with Revan.
rgdelta
yes but the mandalorian wars was about 10 years ago and "young" to the jedi council was around 18-

ChAinZ, Redhawke, Prime, did you hear? We're old ! Lordy, I better go find my cane now. Someone just go and dig my grave, and I'll pre-order the headstone.... Now that I've celebrated the anniversary of my 29th birthday um, several times now, I feel like I'm finally getting going in life. Of course, remembering where I'm going is now the hard part. There's not enough time to master Jedi skills _and_ the strategic/leadership/organizational/political skills in order to be a general by age 15 or 20 or even 30. The vast majority of generals are at that rank because of all the time they've put into the system. While it certainly helps to have good connections and a certain amount of luck in being in the right place at the right time, one does not stay general for very long if one does not have the talent, knowledge, and experience to keep the job. In order for the Exile to be a war hero, the Exile had to have enough time/skills/experience in life to be not just good at the job, but exceptional. Now that I've held various leadership positions over the last 15ish years, I can guarantee you that I was in no way ready to be in command of thousands of troops at age 15 or even 20 or 25, even if I had been that brilliant and talented. It takes awhile to be able to understand yourself, the people you lead, how to motivate people, and how to move towards a goal in an efficient and coordinated fashion, among many other necessary skills. So, I still argue early-mid 40's at minimum for Exile's age.
Apophis2412
A general of 25 seems plausible. I mean how old was Revan when he commanded the entire republic militairy? And maybe you are forgetting Joan of Arc? She was seventeen when she commanded the entire French army.
BattleDog
Yes, exactly, "modern" thought does not apply here. As I said earlier, Revan was the guy in charge and I don't think many would have willing to run away from the order while being led by someone they didn't respect. Which leads me to believe that Revan was one of the oldest Jedi. Revan can't be older than 28, he's repeatedly described as young and his cover story was as a raw recuit. Plus he has a relationship with Bastila and she's only 21 or so. Anakin Skywalker was a General in the Clone Wars at 22, all the Jedi were at least mid level commanders. Being a Jedi seems to equip you well for war apparently. Also, about time, these people didn't start learning in their twenties, they started learning before they were ten. Luke grasped the basics of being a Jedi in a few years and a younger mind learns even faster. I also don't think the Exile was that great, remember the speach to the Militia? The Exile was a Battlefield General, he waved his lightsabre and looked inspiring while Revan told him where to go.
Cygnus Q'ol
...at least in his mid to late thirties. That's what I get if I add exile, Mandalorian wars and at least a spell as a padawan. ...or was he a general at 13?

Prime
A general of 25 seems plausible. I mean how old was Revan when he commanded the entire republic militairy?Probably about that age, maybe older. The Exile was likely about the same age, which again puts him in his mid to late 30's as of TSL. And that's a minimum. And he hardly needs a cane. Look at Qui-Gon for that matter. He was around 60 and still considered one of the best lightsaber masters of the order. 30's in the Jedi order is considered young.

That's what I get if I add exile, Mandalorian wars and at least a spell as a padawan. ...or was he a general at 13? no he was a Full Jedi Knight when he went to fight in the Mandalorian Wars and a 13 year old Knight is very very very rare. That is why I think he was probebely about 20-25 when he entered the war and about 30-40ish in K2. For those that think he was a padawan when he entered the war the game says otherwise can't remember the dialog atm but it said he was a Jedi Knight. Jackel
30's in the Jedi order is considered young. Especially if you are comparing someone that age to Yoda! I agree though, early 30's to late 30's. Probably no younger then 33.
Point Man
a 15 yrs old general would not have had much credibility... No soldier I know would follow someone whose diapers he could have changed. I remember when a sergeant with 24 years of service said to a private who was hassling him, "Shut up! My shoes are older than you!" ChAinZ, Redhawke, Prime, did you hear? We're old ! I guess that makes me ancient. There's a reason I have 66 in my ID.
BattleDog
You know if we're saying the Exile was around 30 when he went to war and Reven was around the same that could mean a 14 year gap between him and Bastila.

BattleDog
So the fact that she's about twenty and Revan is pushing 35 doesn't bother you? This is why I say Revan is 28 in KOTOR.

Some women prefer us older men. They say they enjoy the fact we are more *ahem* experienced. Besides, Malak used drain life on her in the torture chamber, so she has the same number of years left as Revan.
