I hit the top end of the computer geek wannabe scale--59. I guess this means I have to try (which of course implies "fail at") installing some flavor of Linux on my old Pentium 200.

O.o I would have picked you to beat my score O.o

I would have scored lower if the programming part, and the parts about operating systems and hardware wasn't there :p

I've been stuffing as much of various programming languages in my head as I possibly could, so I had to answer 'Yes' to all of them. Running Gentoo, UNIX, and Windows on the same machine for awhile now really sealed the deal though, and having a graveyard of computers at my house didn't help matters either... I've got an old computer of an unknown brand running Windows 1.0 if anyone wants it :xp:

Didn't we just have one of these links?

D even had one in her sig. :D

Her link was to the Geek Test, this is the Nerd test. They're different, and I'm sure there's some geek point for me actually knowing that. :D

If it's a nerd test then why does every answer use the word geek about six times?

And the ranks are in geek.

I'm looking back through the thread, and unless I missed something I can't find a nerd reference in any of the pastes......just found the word nerd used twice in Com Obi's submission, and that's about it.
