TheOssusKeeper
I need RPG recommendations, please! They need to be single player, not those on-line (mmo) games… I already have NWN Diamond Ed. Can you guys/gals suggest any other good ones?
Alkonium
How does Fable: The Lost Chapters sound to you? Other than that, all I can think of Kotor I and II.

Can you guys/gals suggest any other good ones? If you don't mind fairly old (but very good) games: Planescape:Torment Fantasy RPG in a very weird setting. It has an intriquing story and intriguing party members, though the ending is a bit of an anticlimax (story-wise, not gameplay-wise). Baldurs Gate II:Shadows of Amn More classic Fantasy RPG in a medieval-like setting with swords and sorcery. Has a fairly interesting main plot, and tons of side quests and extra things to do. The biggest game Bioware has done thus far, and you'll recognize many design elements that were later used in the KotOR games. Deus Ex Sci-fi RPG/FPS hybrid with a rather dark, neo-gothic setting. You play as a nano-augmented counter-terrorist operative/cyborg in a near-future world where plague, terrorism and conspiracy are commonplace and nothing is as it seems at first glance. The game has a FPS interface, but plays as much as an RPG as a shooter. A bit newer: Vampire the Masquerade:Bloodlines The game takes place in a seemingly normal Los Angeles in 2004... Normal until you get killed and awaken as an undead Vampire and get to explore the hidden occult side of contemporary society. RPG with a FPS/TPS (you can choose) interface. It's more fun than it sounds, and very spooky on occasion. TES3:Morrowind More classic Fantasy RPG setting in this game. It can be a bit described as a single-player "MMO" in concept. It's a huge seamless world where you can wander around and do quests as you feel like it. It has a main plot, but unlike most games you don't need to do it unless you want to. Exploration is a strong point in this game, IMHO. (And probably TES4:Oblivion if you are willing to wait a few more days )
Jeff
Definitely check out Baldur's Gate, I like the original better than the second one, and it ranks right up there with KotOR for my favorite game ever.
Rogue15
Fable the lost chapters this game kicks ass. lots of stuff to do. Morrowind biggest game i've played...hundreds of weapons, you can even make your own potions and enchant weapons with them Deus Ex pretty fun as long as you can find your way... Ztalker
If your computer is strong, you could try: Elder Scrolls 4:Oblivion It's the sequel to the game Morrowind, so there's a big chance it will rock. It gets released on march 24 if i'm correct.. O yeah: Fable tocks too ^^
Astrotoy7
yep, Baldures Gate, Final Fantasy VII and VIII are available on PC, and dont forget Dungeon Siege I an II. If you enjoyed NWN Dungeon Siege is along similar lines. mtfbwya
Alkonium
About Fable: The Lost Chapters, think Kotor, except 100000 times more open-ended. You may not be able to choose your character's gender, but you can still fall in love with and marry anyone of either gender, good or evil, anything you want. stoffe
dont forget Dungeon Siege I an II. If you enjoyed NWN Dungeon Siege is along similar lines. In my opinion Dungeon Sige (at least I) is more like a Diablo clone than like NWN. It's more of a hack&slash action RPG than NWN is. They both have their charm, but I wouldn't call them that similar. The most glaring difference is the monologue in DS1 (click on them, listen to what they have to say, click the OK button) compared to the dialogue in NWN (reply to what they say and have them respond in turn) as a way of interacting with NPCs in the world. This is a great game.
Aash Li
I didnt like Dungeon Siege, thought it was crap. You cant save where you are, so if you die, you have to go all the way back to the last area you started in (I think). Its purely hack and slash, no role playing at all. The graphics are really pretty though, and it ran smoothly back when I only had half a gig of ram. heh. Hi btw! ^_^
Det. Bart Lasiter
^^^^ The toolset for it is horrible as well. You can't make an area without it crashing or freezing up.
Emperor Devon
Since you already have the diamond edition of NWN and other people have suggested Morrowind, I would recommend Jade Empire. Although the combat system and amount of items leave much to be desired, the story is fantastic (although not as good as the one in KotOR), and the graphics are pretty good. I do plan on getting the PS3 when it comes though... or does xbox games work on WinXP PC's also?

Deus Ex, one of the best games I have ever played, it's oldish but the graphics aren't bad and it has definate replayability.
