manoman81 Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 http://x-entertainment.com/updates/entries/archives/00000749.html A Transformer Darth Vader and Boba Fett??!?!?! I'm beginning to beleive that GL will cash in on anything. Any other thoughts? P.S. Beware the forum user comments below the pics. Not exactly pg-13.
Lorden Darkblade Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Looks weird... If they made it more detailed perhaps it would be better IMHO...
Black Knight of Keno Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 How can that bunch be so excited aboutsomething that looks like a turd. A) I didn't know Vader had a 'Shield' on his left hand. The shield would've helped quite a lot when Luke cut Vader's right hand off, now wouldn't it? B) Hot momma! It's a combination of Boba Fett and Jabba the Hutt! *Starts humming the Transformers theme*
Alkonium Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 I've seen some dumb ideas before, but this has to be the worst.
Lightsaberboy Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 "GET IN MY BELLY!!" Was anyone else thinking that when they saw the Boba Fett's transform with little boba fett inside him?
BongoBob Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Grievous is the only one I've seen that doesn't look like ass.
El Sitherino Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Meh, it's no worse than any other franchise. You guys need to stop being such whiny women. "Lucas is ruining my precious Star Wars with these toys and other ****" If anything he ruined it in the early 80's with the Star Wars toilet seat.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 Meh. This ain't that bad. There's worse.
Prime Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 It's better than Data transforming into the Enterprise.
Black Knight of Keno Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 It's better than Data transforming into the Enterprise. Or Spock
Katarn07 Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 The toy aisle is flooded with crap like this nowadays. I haven't really liked collecting all that much as of late, but with this stuff taking all the pegs on the shelves, I'd like it even less. I hardly ever go to stores looking anymore. I've seen these, but I think Vader and Luke on motorcycles has to be a dumber toy.
Writer Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 eh... I have no money and therefore don't much care what sorts of toys are available... can't buy them anyway... but since these have been made known to me, I must comment. In theory, it's an ok idea, but it doesn't look great. Still, I bet there's gonna be a bunch of kids who're all like, "Mommy, daddy, I want that!" so it's still gonna work out well for the makers.
Sabretooth Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 A part of me died as I saw this. I now weep, I weep for the future of Star Wars. EDIT:
Crow_Nest Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Vader becomes a vehicle, and boba fett becomes his own ship?
Ray Jones Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 You guys just don't have phantasy. I'd like to have a huuuge robot looking like me with the abilities to change into some incredible fast flying .. thing. Hey, and what Mr. Sith said. Star Wars ain't what it used to be like let's say 15 years ago. It's like the alley cat in a 200 citizen village. >_>
Nerd_Annhilator Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Yeah...Darth vader with a TIE shield. ...So very very lame.
Ray Jones Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I could give you one on your behind if that would comfort you for starters? ^^
El Sitherino Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I like how no one else has brought up the fact that Vader has two, count em, two lightsabers.
Katarn07 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 For me the best time for Star Wars stuff was between 1994/1995 and 1998. Now those toys were fun. Amen to that. I started losing interest as far back as the TPM line. It was cool at first, but that's the line they started rehashing the same characters over and over again.
Prime Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 It would probably be better if it was Jango. Then at least the little Boba would make sense. I guess he is kind of like Master Blaster...
El Sitherino Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 Uh, Lucas isn't incharge of the toys. That'd be Hasbro. Infact, as far as I'm aware of, LFL is in charge of pretty much everything. Lucas does very little as far as signing things off goes.
jebbers Posted March 26, 2006 Posted March 26, 2006 o i saw some cool regular 3 and what ever inch action figures today....one was commander cody, the clones from Republic Commando heres a link to a pic picture courtesy of rebelscum.com
