swphreak Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Hmm... not bad. And everyone complains about Comcast.
Nerd_Annhilator Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Bah. 3326kbps DOWN, 781 UP. EDIT: Thanks for pointing that out tie. I ALWAYS DO THATSVDHSBJKjabsajk
toms Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 My "broadband" has been seriously screwed for the last few days. It was fine before that.. grr.. time to get on hold with customer services i guess...
TiE23 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Bah. 3326kbps up, 781 down. That's some good upload speed, you play HL2 on a server? More than one pc on our connection... My computer shares a connection and this one has to run 50ft+ of cable and through a switch to get here. Still pretty snazzy for me.
IG-64 Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Not too bad, I guess. At least for DSL. Share some of that speed with us, TiE.
gorganfloss Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 Well, I've been put to shame quite nicely. :-p
Sigundr Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 That's to the closest place to me. WOOT! and the farthest place away from me. Not bad for DSL.
Negative Sun Posted August 15, 2006 Posted August 15, 2006 haha so why is everyone complaining about sigs being too big and stuff like that, looks to me like everyone here is well set lol, unless people with bad results are too afraid to show them...
edlib Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I could probably get a better score if I waited until after midnight. Still... not too shabby if I do say so myself.
Jeff Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I even outdo Rhett's download, but his upload and latency is way better than mine. I have comcast internet and am constantly surprised at how high my download scores are when I take these kinds of tests.
milo Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I have comcast too. Why is yours twice as fast as mine?
Det. Bart Lasiter Posted August 16, 2006 Posted August 16, 2006 I have comcast too. Why is yours twice as fast as mine? Less people online in his area than yours. Try again later. He might have a different modem/router too (Linksys is horrible FYI), and his TCP/IP settings might be configured properly.

Well, my download speed shot up to about 12000 kb/s now that it's later. I guess that's at least part of the problem.
