Master Demonius Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 as the title says whats the quickest uv beatin k1 mine is about 13 hrs
The Doctor Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 With cheats, mods, and skipping all the side-quests, etc., I've managed to make it from the Endar Spire to the duel with Malak in just under four hours of gameplay. It was in one sitting, as I recall, actually...
CSI Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Me? I played very long time...about 20 hours--but I managed to finish all side quests.
SithRevan Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 My best was 5 minutes with cheats. I just warped right to Malak and beat him. Without cheats though I would say about a week because I like playing the game to it's fullest extent.
Shem Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Doing just about every side quest I can think of, I have beaten the game in just over 8 hours before.

Edit: I once made it through the game in about 10 hours.
RevanA4 Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 quickest I've beaten it is about 15 hours doing all the side quests I could remember. I've made it off of Taris in under 2 hours before

Bimmerman Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 This isn't a chatroom, spend some time writing out a coherent reply please. On topic- My personal best is somewhere around eighteen hours, I believe. I tend to take my time through the game. @The Doctor- Four hours? Skip Taris mod or D333's warpband? Either way, highly impressive!
T7nowhere Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I have completed it in about 5 hours give or take 5 minutes. I didn't find the play experience very satisfying though. I really only tried to play through it that fast because I read a post by a Bioware Dev that said it was possible.
Rogue Nine Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 This is not a chatroom, please use proper words and spellings. It makes everyone's lives so much easier. I've gone through the game in around 13 hours at my fastest. It's been a while though, so I think I might pick it up again.
montnoir Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 This is the third christmas I install and play Kotor. It has now officially become a christmas tradition for me. This time around I roleplay everything as far as Bioware allows it within the confined reaches of the game and I try to finish all quests that I come across and sit through all conversations. I have reached Daviks Estate and the game clocks 8 hours. But it's more accurate to say it's 7 hours, perhaps even 6, because I just leave the game on when I am on the phone (you know, for all those funky christmas greets).
HerbieZ Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 All those people saying "With cheats" might as well say they did it in 4 seconds as it's not very substantial. Without cheats i have never actually timed myself but have done it within a day.

My quickest is about 4 minutes, but that was using a "Skip the Game" mod (made in quiet defiance of the Skip Taris/Skip Peragus mods. It plays the "Endar Spire Blows up" movie when you exit through the door after encountering Darth Brandon, and then rolls the ending credits. You didn't make it to the Escape Pods in time. ) * * * On a more serious playthrough, doing every quest and visiting every optional area, the quickest is about 50 hours. I'm quite slow and thorough when playing.
The Doctor Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Bimmerman said: @The Doctor- Four hours? Skip Taris mod or D333's warpband? Either way, highly impressive! Nope. Just a few lightsaber mods. HerbieZ said: All those people saying "With cheats" might as well say they did it in 4 seconds as it's not very substantial. Without cheats i have never actually timed myself but have done it within a day. Fine. Without cheats or mods, I've still beaten the game in just over five hours. As T7 said, though, it wasn't very satisfying to play.
MetalMark Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I alwas do all the side quests and hate it too play the game real fast so my best is 21 hours. And about the bad grammar have some respect for people who aren't good at englisch and/or haven't got Englisch as their native language.
mimartin Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 18 hours, but I usually play slower than that. Speed is not the reason I like playing RPGs.
Grey Master Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 About seven hours, just rushing it until I beat Malak, and I used some cheats.
Anakin Skywalker Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 3 1/2 Hours...... no cheats, on the X-Box....
Titanius Anglesmith Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Anakin Skywalker said: 3 1/2 Hours...... no cheats, on the X-Box.... Wow, unless the X-Box version is that much different and insanely shorter, then I don't believe you. My quickest is exactly 16 hours.
Grey Master Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Anakin is lying, I have tried that, it's impossible to beat the game in less than 6 hours without cheats.
Soogz Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 I recently just finished it up in about 7 hours. I managed to do someside quests, but just stook to the main quest most of the time.
