Jacen's Sith name VOTE

I can't say I'm real pleased with them either, but I suppose if the lovely folks at Lucas want to shoot themselves in the foot with this that's entirely up to them.

As to my personal preference I don't particularly like any of them either...I actually like the two zadi mentioned. You should have nominated them zadi! :)

lolz.... before we diss the fanboys - it would be nice to know what those words meant.

have a look at the known sith lords(since 'Rule of Two' - not those muppets before Bane)

*Im only referring to ones Lucas has come up with himself:

Bane- his revolutionary vision kept the sith from extinction - the bane of all jedi.

Plageuis- the desire for "unlimited power" is parasitic in nature.

Sidious- the way palpatine went from humble senator to imperial overlord with the support of the people was very insidious indeed

Maul- the dude was a great fighter - need I say more ?

Tyranus- a man with the power and means to serve others, but instead serves only himself is truly a tyrant.

Vader- (dutch) father

Jacens sith name is a tricky one. Jacen is a complex character, much moreso than either Luke or Anakin(x2) ever were. He was also always an outsider to Luke's new order, so I'd search for a nice 2(-3) syllable word that encapsulates this. :p

@Jason -darth krayt has been done, Im sure you knew that(Legacy Comics)

I know, but i guess it would be nice for them to link the comics with the books.

They actually have.

In Tempest Alema finds out there are more Sith than just Lumiya and Jacen. Since Krayt founded the Legacy-era ones the year the Yuuzhan Vong War ended, it can't be anyone else. The books should get very interesting from here.

Did you know that every sith lord name originates from a word of a certain language?

Mostly from Latin. Infact, Darth Nihilus's name originates from the latin word Nihl (or something), which means "nothing".

By the way (no offense and permission to speak freely?), is just me or does "Darth Caedus" orginate from the character from my fan fiction?

Like Anakin was to his. So that might not be unique as far as naming goes...

so I'd search for a nice 2(-3) syllable word that encapsulates this. :p
We also need to include that he uses flawed logic and is constantly led down the garden path without any analytical thinking that doesn't already line up with his preconceived views. :p And, it needs to show that he failed his duties as a Jedi.

I propose Darth Gullictus! :D

Let me repeat what I say before...

Jacen Solo! A 3 syllable word that explains the complex character of Jacen Solo quite well. Why must he choose a false name? Follow the path of Revan and Malak and show the galaxy that you have embraced the dark side and is proud of it!
