Chat with Aristotle and other LFN owners this Sunday

Transcripts posted! Click here! (and encore interview with Visac here)

Thank you to Aristotle and Visac for being our guests and everyone else who could join.

I'd like to announce we will be having an interview and chat session on starwarsknights.com with Aristotle and other LFN owners on Sunday, March 18 at 10pm EDT. (UTC -4)

Aristotle is the owner and general administrator of Lucasforums. He is a lawyer, owns the lucasforums.com domain, pays the bills, and handles a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff lets us all use these forums. He has graciously accepted our invitation to answer any questions we might have along with some of the other owners of LFNetwork.

I've suggested limiting the question/answer segment to 30-45 minutes, during which time the moderators will ask questions. The chatbox will be viewable, but posting will be disabled during this time. After that period, the chatbox will be opened back up to the general public.

If you have any questions you'd like to ask Aristotle and the owners of LFNetwork, or LucasArts*, please post them in this thread and we'll compile them together. After the chat interview, we'll post the transcripts. It should be a very interesting discussion and we're looking forward to seeing you there!

* interview date/time TBD

So now we know! This was a cool surprise. :D

A few things I'd want to say: Thanks very very very much to Aristotle, because I like Lucasforums lots; and

Will Lucasarts rerelease the old "Lucasarts Archives" ever? A lot of the games in them are extremely hard to find or have become rather expensive. That's too bad because they're much better than a lot of newer games, and many people have never had the opportunity to play them.

I would absolutely love a SW RTS game with full 3D space battles, sort of like Homeworld. A sequel to Rebellion would be awesomer still. Is anything like this going to happen in the foreseeable future?

I also agree with HerbieZ; An XvT sequel would be great. :)

Samuel Dravis may have already asked this question but...

Will LucasArt ever release the "LucasArts Archives" for us to download for free? :)

Just add some adware and promotional materials bungled with the download, and LA will gain a lot of traffic to its site, and by extension, get extra cash in the process.

BTW, who is the rep? LA has a lot of them.
We should find out tomorrow who will be available. ;)

Thanks for the questions so far! I should also say that Aristotle does not only run LucasForums, but the entire LFNetwork.Com network of over 200 LEC related gaming sites with the help of DarthMaulUK, ChrisC3P0, Visac, and matt-- (some of whom may also join us on Sunday). So if you have any LFNetwork-wide questions, feel free to ask those as well.

Thanks for all the responses so far! We'll be sure to ask what we can about all the games you're interested in. I'm hoping that some of you, like StarWarsPhreak, are also curious about the origins of LFNetwork itself, what goes on behind the scenes, etc. :)
