Emperor Devon Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 We've not had a thread on this in ages. (Hells I can't even remember when we last did!) It's time for another, devoted to the Geek Test! I got a lowly 45.16765%, (super geek) but I know other forumites here (tk ) will get higher ones. Let's see your scores!
Sabretooth Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Is this thread okay yet? I made a post this morning and everything went screwy. I broked it! Since it is, allow me to continue: I got somewhere in the 27% ring. That makes me a Total Geek!
Bee Hoon Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 17.55%, nooo, I'm such a failure at being a geek!
Taos Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 + Geekish Tendencies................................≥09% Tried to be as honest as i could...and that's pretty much what I expected. lol
Boba Rhett Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 + Geekish Tendencies................................≥09% Off my Intranets!
stoffe Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I got 10.05917% - Geekish tendencies (though I suppose I should add +5% or so just for answering all those questions )
matt-- Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I think I've taken this before...I got somewhere in the 90s - Nerd god. I'll have to retake it to make sure. EDIT: This one doesn't even have that rank! Anyway, 44.77% / Major Geek
Miltiades Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 3.15582% - Poser... Please don't kill me...
Lantzen Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 15% That means my geekines have decresaed this last year, think i got around 25% last time i took it. Hurray for me^^
Samuel Dravis Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I got 45.911..something percent. More than Dev, anyway! 17.55%, nooo, I'm such a failure at being a geek!Don't worry bee, just go to the chatbox and Dev, Jae and the rest of them will geek you up. Matt... You, me, babies. Now.
ChAiNz.2da Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 33.72781% +++ Total Geek......................................≥25% I was doing OK until I hit the movies section.. ouch, every single one of them I own and have watched over 2+ times hehehe...
Jae Onasi Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 59.76331%--Extreme Geek. Now how did I get a higher score than some of you computer geeks? Oh, must be the SCA stuff (checked them all), D&D (pretty much checked those all), authors and movies (checked most of those), science ones (I honestly know the names of 3 different temp scales. And the freezing point in all 3), being a girl geek (5 points right there) and my extensive knowledge of useless trivia.... They need some MacGyver questions in there.
adamqd Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 18%... But that's not for a lack of trying, I think I'm too stupid to be a geek lol
Taos Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 Off my Intranets! We can arm wrestle for it! /flex And besides I should add like 30% just for being a supermod on these forums lol.
Totenkopf Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I wonder how many posts were wiped out by the crash. My original post was right after ED's and I got ~12%.
SykoRevan Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 2.95858 = Poser I'm too volatile, mentally unstable, outlandish, and too much of a social whore to be a geek But I did check everything to do with Star Wars, explosives, destroying things, Spaceballs, Monty Python, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and comic books (except I don't collect them... too poor )
Miles Edgeworth Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 They need some MacGyver questions in there. 11.04536% - Geekish Tendencies Yeah, I might have ranked higher if they had a couple of those.
Titanius Anglesmith Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 9.86193% - Geekish Tendencies Mostly stuff about Star Wars, ST: The Next Generation, and a few science questions. No offense to anyone here, but the knowledge that some people actually do/think a lot of those things had me rollin' on the floor.
Achilles Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 (I honestly know the names of 3 different temp scales. And the freezing point in all 3) I couldn't remember the freezing point of Kelvin, so I couldn't claim the bonus points
Jae Onasi Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 I couldn't remember the freezing point of Kelvin, so I couldn't claim the bonus points 273.15 K. Your useless trivia for the day, everyone. And while we're on the geek theme, here's how to find your Geek Name.
SykoRevan Posted September 6, 2007 Posted September 6, 2007 And while we're on the geek theme, here's how to find your Geek Name. I can't do that Geek name thing, since I have no clue how to answer part 5 (name your favorite ASCII or Uni-whatever Strings) EDIT: For question 5, I just put the word "meow." Here is the result: Geek Name: Shadow Smith Real Name:... Shadow Smith. Hmmm... doesn't seem to work for me
