Miles Edgeworth Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Two days ago, Daran Norris (Voice of G0-T0) turned 43. You may also know of him, because he voiced Durge, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Daakman Barrek, and Even Piell, on the Clone Wars T.V. Show. He was also lent his voice to many other shows including: The Fairly OddParents, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, American Dad!, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers, Class of 3000, Codename: Kids Next Door, Dexter's Laboratory, and many other Cartoons.
adamqd Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Happy birthday Daran, and congrats on all the wonderful characters you brought to life... All except G0-T0!!!!
Rev7 Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Happy belated Birthday Daran Norris!! I never knew that he was in all of those shows. Dexter's Labratory was a good show... back in the day ...
Diego Varen Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Happy Birthday Daran Norris. Now where is Shem's screenshots when you need them?
lukeiamyourdad Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Hehe Happy Birthday my favorite flying orb After Bao-Dur's remote of course
Meowster Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 Have a happy happy birthday, G0-T0 a.k.a Daran Norris
Ctrl Alt Del Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 It's fantastic how the actors you though to be much older are fairly young, like Jolee. As for me, I remember him voicing that doctor on the Upper Taris (KotOR 1), Zelka Forn and how he get pissed when I said I was going to tell the Sith about his efforts on hiding Republic survivors, hehe. Happy Birthday!
DrPhil2501 Posted November 3, 2007 Posted November 3, 2007 I'm surprised Shem hasn't made a thread about this for the year (with an included hilarious picture ). Oh well... Happy Birthday Spottswoode (Daran Norris also voiced in Team America: World Police. Luuvv that movie.)
Sabretooth Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 No one likes G0-T0. Are you kidding me? I loved G0-T0, it was the best and most original character in the game after Kreia. I don't know why people hate him, he was even voiced so well. [chriscocker]LEAVE GOTO ALONE!!![/chriscocker]
Titanius Anglesmith Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 No one likes G0-T0. I did. Happy B'day G0-T0! You really sucked in combat, but you were pretty cool anyways.
Mav Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 No one likes G0-T0. I was about to say, is it bad that I wish G0-T0 was never born? (the floating orb of course, not the VA)
Miles Edgeworth Posted November 4, 2007 Author Posted November 4, 2007 G0-T0 never was born, in the first place.
adamqd Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 I didn't really hate G0-T0 as such, what I couldn't understand was that its basically a carbon copy of the IT-0 droid from ANH.. 4000 years later
Emperor Devon Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 No one likes G0-T0. Goto was the most well-written party member in TSL after Kreia. That he was insensitive to the Force and still able to impact the galaxy was quite original, and his backstory of going from a restoration project droid to a crime lord was quite interesting. His reasons for that provided more moral depth than most of K1's party members put together. And he'll *gasp* discuss ways to save the galaxy apart from killing Sith! I never knew such things as economies existed in SW. And what a personality he has, too! It was wonderful having a condescending and well-voiced crime lord in the party. I honestly can't guess as to why people dislike him. Most of the criticism I've seen against Goto seems limited to 'he sucks' and 'he looks too much like the interrogation droids' while steadfastly refusing to even consider his character. /end rant Anyways, I hope his voice actor has a happy (belated) birthday and knows that some of us actually do love Goto.
