JesusIsGonnaOwnSatan
The quick alternative to lengthy food prep and the staple diet of many a swamped college student, Instant Noodles are cheap, void of any nutritional value, and (generally) loaded with sodium. Which is exactly why we love them. (throw in some good ol' brain-warping MSG for good measure) What are your favorite brands and flavors of instant noodle? Or perhaps you don't like them? Maybe you'll stock up for TOR? (noodles are perfect for MMOs) My personal favorite is IndoMie's Instant Mi Goreng. That stuff is flipping legend and kicks the snot out of those pathetic 'normal' noodles. ('chicken flavor' etc) They come in at least 10 different flavors and in various packs (single, 5 pack, and 30 pack ) 'Mi Goreng' is Indonesian for "fried noodles", so even though restaurants have dishes listed as 'mi goreng', asking for 'mi goreng' is like going to McDonalds and asking for 'burger'. 'Mi Goreng' is Indonesian and 'Mee Goreng' is Malaysian.... (or have i got it the other way around-?) These particular noodles have a growing reputation and a fan base (check your social networking site), with it being sold in many countries including Australia, Canada, the UK, Indonesia (duh), Malaysia, The Middle East, New Zealand, Singapore and the US. For a complete list of countries, check out it's Wiki Perhaps you've tried it but dont know what its called, so here's a reference for you: [edit] New question: how many packs/cups of your noodle of choice do you have in one sitting? jawathehutt
I'm a fan or ramen, although I eat more easy mac, simply asian, bowlapatite and other overly simplistic meals
Admiral Buttercrust
I prefer this brand of awesome Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) And if you decide to pick it up next time your at wal-mart or other place, Has I got the recipe for you! First, you get a bowl (I prefer plastic ones!) then fill it with water, stick it in the microwave, and cook for 3 minutes. Next, take some garlic salt and pepper (and if you like spicy food, throw in some crushed red peppers too!) and put them in, next, grab the package, open it, take the sauce package, tear it open, and pour it in, next, crush the noodles or don't, then stick em in, and cook in the microwave for 3 minutes, then YOU ARE DONE AND GETZ TASTINESS!!! Rev7
I like the beef top ramen the best. I generally don't eat much of it though...
Chevron 7 locke
I like Ramen chicken noodle soup. it's very handy when you need to pack a quick lunch or if you just want something hot on a cold day
jrrtoken
Ramen is the best, and my favorite is the oriental variety. Judging by how much I eat of it, I'll probably have a heart attack by 30. By the way, the tags are awesome.
Jeff
I got so sick of Ramen in the first few weeks of college this year because I had it so much, I haven't had it since. I love mac and cheese though so I make that quite a bit, including EasyMac.

True_Avery
**** Yeah Udon! I stopped eating Ramen entirely after I found this stuff. Its more filling, tastes better, and you get a better bang for your buck.
JesusIsGonnaOwnSatan
ramen is soup i believe... indomie is dry. (like the actual dish) its one of the reasons i liked it so much. indeed udons are great. i prefer them dry too (although i suspect its some sort of abomination) ive tried two flavours of easymac: chicken and cheese. i prefer chicken. gosh, i think ill go make me some mi right now. LordOfTheFish
Ramen, or Udon. I tried Annie Chun's but it didn't turn out to well.
CommanderQ
Home made noodles are best! {though Cup-of-noodles is nice when there are nothing else} I think because I make my own noodles, I should create a theme song...."NOODLE MAN!!" Top Ramen can be good as well, though homemade....
Ascendant_Justice
Around here, there's pretty much just Maruchan and Top Ramen available at the supermarkets. I've never really been able to tell the difference between the two because whoever gets them (including me) usually just picks up whatever they see first. I don't think I've ever tried a flavor that I didn't like, but Oriental is probably my favorite, whichever brand makes that, if not both. Creamy Chicken's a nice flavor, but it's apparently a highly volatile concoction, as if I leave it alone for three minutes at the stove, it's pouring itself into the air vent in the floor. -_-
Sabretooth
I like Top Ramen, especially their Curry flavour, but I dunno, I can pretty much eat any noodles that come at me because they're noodles. <3 noodles.
