Rtas Vadum
Speaking of the film, of course. Myself, i can't say its bad, one of the best things about it being the music. The animation style is a little cartoon-ish, but that aside, the dialogue is pretty good. Both the lines themselves and the actors speaking them. As for Ashoka, i definitely like her character design, and the reverse grip she uses. Though i think the doubled "s" curved used on her saber is not a bad idea, but when you consider how many sabers that use it, it is getting a bit old. Not to mention the fact that it seems once they made a number of designs for Ep1, they just keep recycling them for new characters, with a few exceptions, most of these being for main plot characters, such as Obi-Wan, and of course Anakin(which, from the OT, is to be expected). Though i am slightly curious to exactly how they are going to work Ashoka in with Ep3 and the rest of the story.
Adavardes
The animation style is a little cartoon-ish, but that aside, the dialogue is pretty good. Both the lines themselves and the actors speaking them. ... What? I'm going to assume you were plugging your ears and saying what you wanted to hear come out of their mouths, because there is no earthly way that the dialogue, or the voice acting, were anywhere near decent in this movie. The dialogue was simplistic, shallow, and clunky, and sounded like it was written to only entertain 4 year olds. Albiet, this movie was meant for kids, but still, if the demographic you're targeting can handle war, and death, both of which are present in the movie, they should be able to understand more than the simplistic vocabulary and sentence structure provided. To top it off, the voice actors sounded as if they had practiced a single inflection of the original actor's voice, and repeated it contiuously throughout the entire movie, most notably with Obi-Wan. The only thing compelling about the movie was the action, which was obviously very elegantly crafted in CGI. But pure action does not a quality movie make, the everlastingly horrid kung-fu movies of the past being a testament to this fact. Overall, I want the two hours of my life back I wasted on this poorly made, horribly written cash cow. That said, I am much more impressed with the course the TV series has been taking, with some interesting episodes of a much darker, more mature and complex nature. But I'm still highly aprehensive after that... THING they called a movie.

Mav
I haven't seen the new animated movie, nor do I really have any large desire to do so, in fact I think it was on tv tonight, but I ignored that. The new tv series on Cartoon Network, I watched that for the first 8 or so episodes and I lost interest, prefering to watch some anime series' that I neglected to watch before. Overall I'm not that impressed with the cartoon, the show wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.
adamqd
There is quality there, but it's just so done to death! The clone Wars has more books, games, Novels, cartoons, toys, comics and films set in and around it that it's become convoluted, and now everything they do is stepping on something Else's toes. Also they are dealing with old Original trilogy locales and races now, but completely ignoring the back stories that George licensed out to be established in the various visual guides and encyclopedia type books. Species are now turning up with different names, hailing from different planets etc. It's a bit of a slap in the face because if I knew that George would disregard this supposed official merchandise (Yes I'm fully versed in canon and it's levels) then would I have put investment in it? probably not. If Lucasfilm etc are gonna make millions of merchandise, and employ an entire licensing department to establish and maintain Canon, couldn't they make an effort to stick to it? Jae Onasi
It's a regular Friday Night event in our family. It's so cold this winter that everyone's come upstairs to our bedroom where it's warmer and piled on our large bed with the popcorn to watch the show. If you're expecting Oscar-winning performances, you'll be disappointed. If you're expecting some fun Star Wars entertainment, you'll be pleased. Yes, some of the jokes are a little old, but you know what? We laugh anyway. I'm enjoying seeing the different stories of the Jedi and clones unfold over the course of the season, and watching Yoda kick butt in a lightsaber duel is great. That's what I've always felt Star Wars is at heart - light entertainment, which everyone can enjoy. I think we often forget that by sometimes reading too much into things - it's about having fun, after all.
Endorenna
What Jae and Astor Kaine said. It's meant to be fun, not a masterpiece. I like the graphic style. The voice acting is decent (even in the movie ). The dialogue has gotten a lot better since the movie. Heck, even the Jar-Jar episodes are good. My $.02 cents. I'll keep watching it, keep enjoying it, and keep ignoring the absolutely awful voice they have for the previews and the recaps. PS: Was it just me, or did they change the Padme' model for the Blue Shadow episodes? She looked better than she did before.

Better in what way? I did notice that too- it's probably due to the production team refining things as they went along.

And if you're talking about the movie, no. Just no. It's just bad, there's no two ways about it. The show I can agree with you on. It's not a bad peice of work, at least thus far. The movie was just horrendous. There is quality there, Not in the movie. It was just a peice of human waste.
Kjølen
The film was okay. Anakin's voice wasn't whiny enough, but otherwise, it was okay. For comedic value, I enjoyed the battle droids. "Concentrate fire on sector 11374265." "1137... what was that again?" "JUST FIRE RIGHT THERE." "Count Dooku demands an update on the pursuit. Should I tell him they got away, or what?" [Ventress uses the Force to throw the droid off the balcony and down the cliff] "WWWHHHHHHhhhhyyyyy...."
Jae Onasi
I enjoyed the movie, too, though it felt more like a 90 minute intro to the TV show than anything else, since they needed to build the setting and the characters, introduce Ahsoka, etc. Again, not Oscar performances, Wall-E and Bolt were a zillion times better in that regard, but I had fun. That's the only expectation I went to the movie with (simple fun), so I wasn't disappointed.

igyman
The Clone Wars movie was, in a word, crap. The story was nonexistent, the music just didn't fit the Star Wars universe, the actors were nothing special either. Only the action was good, but considering that's pretty much all the movie had to offer it's not much of a praise. I've seen the first few episodes of the show and, unlike the movie, they were pretty decent. Nothing special, but a lot better than the movie. Kjølen
The Clone Wars movie was, in a word, crap. The story was nonexistent What are you talking about? If anything, the story was the only defined thing. The Jedi Council has tasked Anakin and Asoka with saving Jabba's little Punky Muffin to win the Hutt's allegiance in the war. Simple as that. Chevron 7 locke
I thought it was alright. I loved the lightsaber action and the battle droids were funny some of the time. It wasn't the greatest movie, but it was alright
jonathan7
I was talking about the movie. And if you're talking about the movie, no. Just no. It's just bad, there's no two ways about it. That's opinion like it or not some people like it. I didn't mind the Movie, mainly because I wasn't expecting much from it, and I hate the whole idea of Anakin having a Padawan. But as a piece of harmless fun it's just that. No the dialogue isn't brilliant, and the plot isn't great either but seriously how many kids cartoons have fantastic dialogue and story? We could also move over to Kavars and a discussion of existentialism. Main gist of my post; I and several others like the movie; you think it's poo, but it's a matter of opinion, not of fact. I hate Marmite - some people love it, same principle...

HK-42
The movie wasnt that great,(note I just all saw these recently since I heard of the Ryloth Trilogy) I liked the idea of a new apprentice, not the idea of a Hutt Child. The episodes are a different story. I liked almost all of them, except a few, mainly the Prison Series. The Clones are my favorite characters, they master different qualities of the many ones. Astor
Also, I'd like to say that I love the music. I wasn't too pleased to hear about the butchering of the theme tune at first, but I really like the way it turned out.
Kjølen
At the end of the cartoon, Asoka should die protecting Jabba's sun. That will get rid of two characters that should not have existed later in the series.
Negative Sun
Ahsoka's kinda grown on me tbh, she's no worse character than say Padme for example... I've said it before, this is a very high quality cartoon series, meant to be for kids, even though some of the stuff can be a bit graphic (clone troopers dying etc...), and I've been really enjoying it! This, BSG and Heroes are about the only things worth watching atm...
