ZimmMaster
I've found a way to fix the walking animation from that horrible waddling effect to a neutral effect without the sliding problem. Should I release a mod with the fix? Should I post a Tutorial thread here? Or Should I do both?

EnderWiggin
An actual poll would have been good. I'm in favor of both. _EW_

ZimmMaster
Post a youtube vid so we can 'try before we buy'. I am unable to do that. As my computer can't make the vids correctly. I tried it but it slowed down my computer so much it crashed my game and also gave me an error message saying that my video ram or something like that was low. If you want however I'll post a request for someone who can.
Sir Vougalot
Oh, thank you! I have always been do sicked off with how your character sways back and forth when walking in the first game. By contrast, I think the running animation of KOTOR is far better than that of TSL. If you could also release a mod doing the opposite with the running animation of the second game, that would be really cool. But I'd certainly be content with just a mod correcting KOTOR's dire walking animation to resemble TSL's, or something similar.

Sith Holocron
I also voted "both." I do think that you might want to have someone make a video of this mod in action. Perhaps you can have a beta tester do that for you?

Astor
I voted 'both', as well. I can't wait to see the improvement. Oh, thank you! I've always found it strange that Obsidian managed to take a step forward with the walking animations in TSL, yet took a step back with the running animation - I too prefer the running in K1 - it looks a little more sensible than the marathon running we see in TSL. SpaceAlex
Voted "both", naturally. I've always found it strange that Obsidian managed to take a step forward with the walking animations in TSL, yet took a step back with the running animation - I too prefer the running in K1 - it looks a little more sensible than the marathon running we see in TSL. The ones for males aren't that bad, but the female ones are absolutely horrendous.
Astor
Voted "both", naturally. The ones for males aren't that bad, but the female ones are absolutely horrendous. Oh, god, you're right. It's just the way that they hold bladed weapons that irks me - everytime they run (which is most of the time) it looks like they're in danger of impaling themselves on their weapons if they were to trip. Holding it by your side like in K1 looks much more refined, and sensible.
darth-me
yeah, I noticed that too - the TSL running animation. It was a bit disappointing after K1. Anyway, anything that anyone does to improve KOTOR is fine by me!

Perhaps you can have a beta tester do that for you? OK, I'll post a request for a beta tester. *EDIT* And I want to be clear with what you are asking pertaining to the running animations in TSL. I can slow down or speed up the running/walking animations but I cannot change the animations themselves.
