SpartanPride
If I could I would shrink myself and sink through your skin to your blood cells, and remove whatever makes you hurt - but I am too weak to be your cure. Brand New - Guernica ^ The lead singer, Jesse Lacey, is the best lyric writer I've ever seen. I had a really hard time choosing one...

SpartanPride
But, but... what about Bob Dylan. ;_; I prefer Lacey's lyrics as he uses clever analogies and often go into topics I can relate to better. In the underground punk scene, Brand New is quite well known for their well-written lyrics. Yep... No one contends with Mr. Zimmerman in terms of lyrics. Personally, I think he's met his match. Gob
Personally, I think he's met his match. No.... No, no..... YOU have lost! *Shoots lightning at you* No, but seriously, I'm just saying that Bob Dylan's influence reaches farther than any other artist in terms of lyrics. He's not even my favorite lyricist. But his universal influence is pretty factastic... Factastic... I should write that down...

JediAthos
There's nothing you can do that can't be done. Nothing you can sing that can't be sung. Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game It's easy. There's nothing you can make that can't be made. No one you can save that can't be saved. Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time It's easy. -Lennon/McCartney "All You Need is Love"
