I would have cast Jim Carrey as the mad hatter:p.

It wouldn't be a Tim Burton feature without Johnny Depp. :p

There's also plenty of British talent - Stephen Fry will be voicing the Cheshire Cat, Sir Christopher Lee will be playing the Jabberwock, Michael Sheen will be playing the White Rabbit, and Barbara Windsor will be playing the Dormouse, among others.

It looks interesting, to say the least.

Well this looks like it's going to be pretty damn special, when we all get to watch it. But...ahhhh..the Mad Hatter played by Johnny D. looks to be really freak'in bizzare in this one.

Anyway, I hope it's as good as the Trailer makes it out to be.

Yes but this version isn't exactly geared twards children

Nonetheless, it's being made by Disney, so it's probably going to be no more than PG-13.

But then again, i'd trust that most parents would know whether it'll spook their children.

I just want him to stop now, he's everywhere and beginning to annoy me.

Do you not recall the 80s my dear Pavlos?! Mr. Fry was all over the place, particularly with Blackadder [baaaa!] and then with his own sketch show with Hugh Laurie.

I have Mr. Fry to thank for introducing me to my beloved Charlotte [bronte]. There's a scene from 'A Bit of Fry & Laurie' where he complains about the 'Turk' Ms. Bronte refers to in metaphor near the start of Jane Eyre. Naturally, it caught my attention. Of course I had to wait a couple of years before I could read it because as refugees we didnt have much access to anything back then ....including swanky libraries and bookshops. :(

As for the 'Alice' flick. Im really looking forward to it - though I do hope that Burton does not entirely jettison that sublime cerebral thread than runs through these 'children's books'
