Dread Advocate
It was worth a grin, nothing more. But wasn't that everyone's reaction back in 1980? What I would give just to see the original releases... I this ties into it.
Shem
That's ironic to me personally because I was 4-years-old when ESB came out in 1980 and found out the shocking revelation that had my own family debating whether or not Vader was lying. mimartin
meh video makes for a meh thread. but good to know kids of today still appreciate the classics. I don’t suppose anyone ever taught you the old expression “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” It is a nice bit of advice that could save you a lot of heartache in life. Kids reaction was pretty good.
Taak Farst
I don’t suppose anyone ever taught you the old expression “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” Meh, half the forum don't know what nice is anyway :L and I was simply stating. I also continued to say it's good kids of this gen. still appreciate it!
The Doctor
Right, because people see this all the time nowadays... This. You don't see any adults these days who don't know who Darth Vader is, even if they're not Star Wars fans. It's an awesome moment, learning it for the first time, and just as awesome watching someone else learn it too.

Ztalker
haha @ inane youtube comments about how it's wrong to let children watch star wars I'd rather have them watch Star Wars then gangster rappers/Bieber/play computer games 24/7. Star Wars has some roots in Greek mythology and kids could actually learn something from it....imho. But I'm biased as a teacher since I played Episode 4 in my class near the end of the year. Ztalker
@ Ztalker: Yeah, kids these days "don't know the POWER of the dark side!" Exactly! Can you remember the last time we saw a wrinkled old power-hungry dictator clad in black? I say it's lack of ambition.
