Rogue15 Posted March 3, 2003 Posted March 3, 2003 I went to http://www.computertraining.com and filled it all out, answered their entrance exam questions, and like 4 hours later got a phone call....I got 29/30 questions right, and tomorrow at 6 I'm going to a free class and I get a free t-shirt.

Rogue15 Posted March 4, 2003 Author Posted March 4, 2003 its insane cause i was thinking about looking into classes in fall, but that's too far away, and if i start taking classes right now...i could have some certifications by november...i just went to the site cause i keep hearing about it on the radio at work and i was bored. the questions are so easy that zbomber and tyrion could answer them without cheating. And i did this with the fact that my mom would have something negative to say. And she did, she said it better not be a scam. lmao.

Rogue15 Posted March 5, 2003 Author Posted March 5, 2003 well that went well.... the place happens to be a microsoft/cisco engineer training place thingy. =p and it also happens to cost $25,000....of course, their loans and stuff would help w/that, i'm a little undecided, i think i'll get my a+ certification first and see what branch i'd be most comfortable with, when i was reading that a+ certication book i was interested in networking, but i'd like to see some other options to see if i'd like something better. I'm very glad that I went to the place though.

GUNNER Posted March 5, 2003 Posted March 5, 2003 I took the A+ class last year. It was a nice class but I knew most of it already. Plus my work pays for all my schooling so it was free. Wife is taking her CCNA test this week as she already has her MCSE and some others as well. I can take the CCNA classes as well and guess what, their free too. If there is one benifit from working at this place it's that they are really big into the workers going to school, plus I can post from work.
