I'd probably be a helo pilot.

arent you just a giver of confidence:rolleyes: i used to be in a military camp. we practiced sniping. they had us practice on rabbits. afterwards we would eat the rabbit. it was fun. but if you see the stare in that rabbits eye when it knows its gonna die it makes you kinda sad. but i have no problem shooting people (woah that just sounded wrong) me and my friend used to get our bb guns and snipe eachother in the legs. and the chest (we wore googles and cups).we had to go to the hospital alot.

Kill someone in cold blood. Well, you're gonna wind up killing someone somewhere with almost any of the jobs listed so far 'cept research technician and such but even then, who knows what you might discover that could kill hundreds of people.

You could very well wind up killing someone in a chopper as well.

I was going to join the Navy, actually. Even went through two weeks of boot camp, until they found out I had mild asthma. Normally, it wouldnt have been a problem, but it became an "erroneous enlistment" and I was discharged. I could have re-enlisted, but I really didnt want to after that...

Anyway, I was slated to train as an "Aviation Electronics Technician." Basically, I would be the guy on the carriers who deals with all the electronic shtuff on the planes. I'd leave the computers to the Avionics guys, but most else is mine.

They kept trying to get me to join the Nuke program, offering me a spot on a submarine (my entrance exams in the science and electronics portion were perfect), but submarines freak me out...

Anyway, I'd probably want to be the guy who gets to cart around the missiles on the flight deck. Because then I could drive that little car around with missiles on the back, and everyone would get out of my way. Hells yeah. ;)

Riiiight. What are you all? Fourteen, fifteen, with the exceptions of a few people? And that's just your physical age. You probably have a mental age of less than that. When you're in an actual combat situation, with live ammunition, a real heavy sniper rifle in your hands pointing it at someone who has no idea that you are aiming at him, it is NOT the same as sitting nice and safe at your computer and running around in Counter-Strike or whatever silly war games you play. Like Shock said, you all want to be one because it's "cool" and you think you have the killer mentality to do it. That's total bull****. Don't try to put yourself above what you're actually capable of. Shooting a bunch of pixels or a rabbit is not the same as killing another human being.

And I wouldn't fly a combat helo. I'd probably fly a Chinook or a Sea Stallion.
