Rebel Loyaltist
Spy reports also show that most RSNers are not willing to fight this war per Lynk Former's two cents. He also said that they would we ally with us to shut down the swamp but would remain neutral should our invasion extend further into their territory. I saw we just blitzkreig the place and set and occupation force there agreed all?

edlib
Hey... is the war over yet? Actually,.. I have the feeling we could probably wage an all-out full-scale assault on the Swamp and they might never notice it happened.
Zoom Rabbit
Is there a better reason for war? Bad, bad fighter pilots! You all wanted to start this darn war, and now Redwing and I are over there earning all the glory? If I don't see some familiar avatars at the strike zone we're clearing over at the Swamp pretty soon, there'll be kool-aid in the pilot's lounge for a while... (No flaming, tho'...we're just playing.) Wally has said his piece there about 'sigs.' Black Mamba: Welcome aboard! No military campaign is successful without defectors (which is what we call them when they're on our side) who provide inside information. We need to know about this election. Which thread is it in? The Plan: Straightforward hit-and-run. Use :awing:s and :x-wing:s to catch them sleeping, then wake 'em up with a missile strike. Once that's done, hijack the thread. Leave 'em crying, with their pants down around their ankles, and burn jets back to XWA. If they counter-attack here, then standard scramble and intercept. Cover the capital ships...you guys know the dance. Any questions?

Zoom Rabbit
Your job will be to grab any Swampies that wander over here, hold them real tight and whisper sweet things in their ears. That will definitely scare 'em off.
Admiral Odin
I personally will begin immediate brewing of Victory beer to celebrate our inevitable victory. (and gather other supplies)

Zoom Rabbit
War update: Someone without humor closed the 'war declaration' thread over at the LZ. Mag pulse warheads again...tricky, very tricky. Fortunately, we have a new front. In the 'sig auction' thread, I have somehow gotten a foothold on hijacking it into an 'X-wing vs. A-wing' debate; now is the time to jam their airwaves with our professional opinions on the matter. Also, I'm running for president. Vive la resistance. Yay XWA and RSN! Onward to victory!

I have X-Wing (DOS floppy version...old, I know) and XvT (though my master disk is scratched...will probably get a new copy w/ the BoP add-on around the time my squad starts the new ToD [that's Tour of Duty]). edlib
I've played all the X-Wing games (and still hoping against hope for another one someday...) but Tie-Fighter was (and still is) my favorite; With XWA a close 2nd, then a tie (no pun intended) for X-Wing and XvT (but only XvT with the Balance of Power expansion.) I'm sorry to say that I haven't played any of them in a long while however. You won't find me on any of the popular IM services, I'm afraid... I just don't type fast enough to make it a useful means of communication for me.

I just don't type fast enough to make it a useful means of communication for me. Typing can always be improved. You can either get a program such as "Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing" or get an old electric typewriter (one where you actually have to hit the return key at the end of each line) and the book "The Cortez Peters Championship Typing Drills". I improved from about 35 WPM to better than 60 WPM on a 5 minute timed writing in a few months using the second method. In the meantime, you can email me. My Yahoo address can be found on my profile.
