Isn't there bound to be another Harry Potter movie out this year? Or am I just imagining things, there is a game called Quidditch being released awfully close to when they usually release the Harry Potter movies.....

No, it's coming out next year. I'm pretty sure it's pretty early in 2004, at least they have started filming.

Hate to ruin the party, but as much as you and I all love big summer event films, there is always some foreign schmuck, or washed up director that puts out some schmaltzy symbolic film around November or so, that always seems to steel the Oscar. (Anyone who stomached Tintanic or Shakespear In Love will know what I am talking about) The big money makers only secure the need for sequals, but real success is only meaured in timing. The film industry sucks. Sorry...:(

And I think the Oscars are a load of crap...

I predict:

1: "X2 - X-Men United"

2: "The Matrix Reloaded"

3: "The Matrix Revolutions"

4: "Tomb Raider 2" (I don't know it's full title)

5: "Terminator 3"

Hopefully everyone this year will realise that "The Lord of the Rings" is quite pathetic, and the third film will get no viewers at all, ever, on the entire globe. But then, that's not going to happen, so I'm not very happy.

Blast.

"X2 - X-Men United" rules the year's overall box office already, and it's come out before any of the other films, so that's quite good. Magneto is brilliant.

Both films about "The Matrix" will be big sellers, because everyone loved the first film and, like "Star Wars" and "James Bond", will draw in old fans and new viewers, mainly because of the dizzy camera effects and cutting-edge stuff involved in the making of the films.

"Tomb Raider 2" will be awesome (and not just because it stars the tittilating Angelina Jolie). The first film was a big hit, although swamped by accusations of it being just for guys to oggle over Lara Croft. So, I'm hoping that this second outing will shake off the accusational remarks and really deliver something more like the smash-hit games.

Apparently, "Terminator 3" blew it's entire budget on the opening action sequence, and so filming was halted. Sounds like a brilliant film to me, then. Although... Arnie is getting on a bit. Will he still be able to cut it as the Terminator?
