Rogue15 Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 Haven't seen one of these threads in like forever.... anyways here's my desktop!
Lynk Former Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 *scratches back of his head and smiles* well give me a week, I'll post mine up then, right now my computer isn't actually working at the moment so I have to use this one x.x
Taos Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 Here it is, I just love BMW's and that is a prototype/concept car I believe.
Zoom Rabbit Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 I don't get it. If I pound a bunch of posts in my desk top, that would make it harder for me to put things like computers and typewriters on it... Rogue15, you sure have some odd suggestions.
-=ReApEr=- Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 The great Rouge15 Doesn't have windows xp. OMG! We must buy it for him.
Surfnshannon Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 ok...here is an easy way to see my desk top. Go to settings chose the background with the ocean and the sail boat and waaaaallaaaa there's my desktop. It's my work computer...so its just..simple.
edlib Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 I won't post it as an image, since it's full size. Desktop
leXX Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 edlib - If you're into Galaxies, Nebulae and Space (like me), this might interest you.
edlib Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 Thanks. I usually just troll thru the official Hubble site. Sometimes you have to edit the pics though. This one I'm using is getting a bit musty (been using the same one since Jan.) It might be time for a change. One thing I always notice on other people's desktops are those gawdawful little "shortcut" arrows on all the icons. Everyone: Do yourself a favor and download TweakUI and use it to turn those stupid things off! Those things bug the hell out of me. TweakUI for XP: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp For other versions of Windows: http://www.microsoft.com/ntworkstation/downloads/PowerToys/Networking/NTTweakUI.asp
leXX Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 Damn, you're good. I change my wallpaper virtually every day.
leXX Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 If you wanna get rid of those arrows, get TweakXP. I haven't got around to doing anything with it yet, but I will.
Surfnshannon Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 that uninstaller program looks sweet. Might give it a go when I go home. I hate how the XP uninstaller never REALLy unstalls anything and/or it only uninstalls what it wants to.
Kuuki Posted June 17, 2003 Posted June 17, 2003 WARNING!! this picture has some naughty language in it. so don't click it if you're offended by the F-bomb. -Ike http://linuxsupportdesk.net/pichost/uploads/desktop.png
