So, only 17 days left now... cant wait! :D

warmed up yesterday with The Two Towers extended dvd, and it got up my hopes even more!

I just don't understand why they let out the scene with boromir and faramir in minas tirith from the original version... it kinda gave both the characters more personality, and explained why boromir was at the counsil in the first place...

wellwell, i have tickets to the premiere, and i'm lovin the wait :D

so how bout you other swampies? got any good hopes for the movie? are you going to see it (duh :p )? well, the countdown begins today! :D :D :D

Geezus!!! I can't bloody wait!!!! Seeing it when it gets released on Boxing Day, at the early morning session (like 9:00am) with all my family (cuzs, girlfriend, parents, uncles, auntys, etc). Morning session is sweet cos you can get a seat and then after the movie you've got a bloody huge line of people trying to get tickets that's so long it goes outside the megaplex!!

I'm looking forward to it yes, but I hope Jackson doesn't manipulate too much from the book....

Thats my only fear. I mean, I even heard a rumor from a friend that

Theoden survives the battle with the Witch King

I cannot varify that rumor, because frankly, I think my friend is full of crap, but it's like the way Jackson did Haldir at Helm's Deep. I mean, the elves weren't supposed to be there in the first place...

I don't think that

Theoden survives. If you watch the latest trailer for the movie, you can see Eomer doing that cry/screaming thing while holding the body of someone on the Pelannor Fields. You can see the top of the head of the person he's holding, and it looks very much like the top of Bernard Shaw's (Theoden's) head.

And yes, I'll definitely be seeing RotK. :D

I didn't really care much for the first,

though I did like the second one.

I'll most likely see this one - but probably not the first day. It seems like it will be a good a movie - and well I have to see what happens! I never read the books. I tried reading the hobbit but got bored. Maybe I'll read them...?

one credit card receipt for a tent, ideal for camping outside theaters..signed by Rocker D

one book...etc etc

Anyways, FOTR and TTT were ok, third one will be good as well but camping or waiting for release date i have only done one time and that was when JA was out :) Here where I live I know 2 places were they hold a "LOTR marathon", the first 2 movies and then the third one, a day prior to its release date. I'm sure i can get a ticket any time i want, even if it was a second before it started but i'm not sure whether to go or not...If i want to see those 2 again but I'm really considering it. A die hard fan wouldnt have to hesitate, so you can exclude me from those
