Yeah, I have. They're not really bonus chapters though. They're just wave after wave of more and more bad guys with increasingly tougher AI and meaner weapons in a tiny room with little cover. Got boring after one go at it.

Max Payne 2 was the better game in my opinion...because the story was a little better although could have been better needed more weapons...and after you beat it a couple of times it gets old...if it weren't for the mods this game would have no replay value

 

Max Payne 1 was pretty good too....but the whole they killed my family and I'm gonna take revenge is a little over played...also this game has a problem with replay value as well....mods make the difference tho...

Nah, I never ended up using the Dead Man Walking mode. Probably cos I'd die within 2 seconds of playing it :o Personally, I thought MP1 had the better story. I was intrigued from the start, whereas in the second one I actually ended up skipping cutscenes. Overall though, I'd consider Max Payne 2 better, cos the graphics were much more sophisticated, as was the bullet time and gameplay.

 

By the way, anyone else think that the MP2 Max looked nothing like MP1 Max? XD

Yeah i tried it, it was too freakin hard, there are unlimited enemies and they respond faster as you play longer in the map. Once you complete the game it will automatically be unlocked.

Its about this guy whose his wife and daughter were murdered by druggies, he was transfered from the FBI to the DEA and was framed for murdering his friend. So the cops are after him, he wants to take revenge on the guy who killed his family.

 

End of story

 

I, not sure for part 2 ask someone else.

max payne 2: after he gets revenge and is proven innocent. he goes back to being a detective on the NYPD during a shoot out in a factory he sees a woman whome he thought was dead. mona sax. turns out mona is a murder suspect. so meanwhile trying to find mona he realises his familys murder goes much deeper than he thought. basicly its max trying to find a purpous in life after his familys death because revenge left his so bitter that he cant do anything but be a cop. its such a sad story but its one of the best games ive ever played.
