REDJOHNNYMIKE
Especially if you want the premium package XP But why is PD0 the only thing you'd want to play, I want it to, but what about Call of Duty 2, American Wasteland, Gun, Need for Speed most wanted, and almost everything else:D and with Gears of War in 06 and Mass Effect in 06-07... Jeff
I don't get how they release this with it still having bugs. The console was probably finished months ago and all these months people have just been playing games over and over just to look for bugs. It doesn't make sense how they didn't see them and now the problems are everywhere. Unless they had the same problems but overlooked them since they knew people would still buy it. REDJOHNNYMIKE
It probably does have something to do with business, but I like to think that the samurai on the other side of the pacific sabotaged it, it just seems way cooler:D Maybe next year, in some korny scifi movie somebody will mention the "console wars" and how it all got violent (corporate competition seems to be a popular explanation whenever some grunt needs to mention old battles:D)

Lynk Former
I'm not saying it's not fun, just saying it's nothing new. I get the same amount of fun playing current generation stuff.

So... why waste money buying an xbox for those when I can already get them on a system I already have? Perfect Dark is the only xbox360 exclusive game of any interest to me. The_Maker
Typical, when I got my used Xbox (which I still have and still works) I thought "Oh Wow! The most amazing gaming console on the market! Yippee!" So, when I bought it, turned it on, tried out MechAssault and got bored with it, I kinda started to realize that it wasn't all that great, it wasn't any better then my PS2 or Gamecube. I bought all of... *counts on fingers* 5 games for my Xbox in the last 2 years. And now, Microsoft (as usual) tries to come out with new scummy software and (as usual) its utter junk. I personally don't see what all the big hype is, I mean, sure its the first new gen system on the market, and sure its as fast as hell but in 6 more years there is going to be *ANOTHER* whoop-dee-do event where more "next gen" consoles are made and sold. Maybe I am just seeing through all the marketing bull, but I really think the Xbox 360 is stupid =/. PC's, are much better, you can upgrade them, you can change their design, you can change how they behave, you can add and remove almost anything on them. Bah, the only thing that really interests me for the next gen consoles is the revolution because I can play all my on GC and N64 games on it, but that controller is just so ugly... Just my point of view though.

Det. Bart Lasiter
stupid microsoft can they get anything to work with out a major hitch? I've never broken a PC, and I've had several, 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP Home, XP Pro, XP Pro x64 (beta and release), XP Tablet Edition, Longhorn (alpha), Vista, CE, and Server 2003 have never broken on me On the subject of XBox 360 though, there's nothing new there, nearly every game that's come out in the past 5 years have been re-makes or new resource files crammed into a general game template. The games on the XBox 360 are just going to be of the high-poly(gon) variety.
Astrotoy7
jmac, are you telling us that youve NEVER received a "blue screen of death" in any of those MS operating systems ?? Det. Bart Lasiter
Nope. Just clean your PC periodically, run Windows off a seperate HD from the rest of your programs, and don't use IE too much.

Bimmerman
I bought the 360 premium package the day it came out. Since I never bought the original xbox, I figured I'd start with the new one. I have to say, it is impressive. Need for Speed Most Wanted, Quake 4, and Halo 2 all look phenomenal. I have not had any of the problems associated with the 360 that have recieved so much publicity recently, and am quite satisfied with it. I'd recommend it to anyone who didn't buy the original, otherwise wait till Halo 3 comes out.
REDJOHNNYMIKE
Did you have any trouble getting it? And have you moved it around a lot? The guys I chat with at wal-mart said the demo box fried a disk because someone moved it. Okay, after reading some of the stuff in Link's Lynk (couldn't resist) One thing stands out to me, It seems most of the trouble occurs when you tip the equipment while it's running. Have you ever had a gyroscope? Ever got it up to speed and then tipped it sideway? What's the RPM on these drives now? Physics? I'm not saying that this is the cause of every problem associated with them, just a more likely result of tipping it over while the disc is rotating at a high rate. Can't wait to see what happens when nintendo goes overboard on their design and wants you to wave the revolution around just like the controller:D
