Anyways, three weeks later he's back and he said that he got his testicles "twisted" - like, one had gotten on the other side of the other...? I wasn't really listening because I was in the foetal position. I mean, this is what got me into drugs for crying out loud. So is that testicular torsion? Wait! I just read that and I realised it sounds like he said it happened because he got beat up - he didn't; there was no beating up, that was what his mother told the school to save his embarassment I guess. It happened in bed. We didn't ask how.
