Hannibal Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 SW: Lethal Alliance story This is the link to the press release on Ubisofts site. ...with unforgettable Star Wars characters and species, including Boba Fett, Kyle Katarn, Princess Leia Organa, Darth Vader...
Diego Varen Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 SW: Lethal Alliance story Looks okay. I might get it for my PSP.
Lynk Former Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I'll probably end up giving it a miss since there are better games for the DS.
Mav Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 meh, we'll see, I need to see more info before I decide though
Jeff Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 I'm probably getting a DS lite real soon so it might be something I'm interested in.
Emperor Devon Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 I'm not planning on buying a new console for one game, so it doesn't interest me. And yet I still wonder, where art thou, KotOR III?
RedHawke Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 I'm not planning on buying a new console for one game, so it doesn't interest me. Ditto!
Lynk Former Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Ubi would be better off putting their efforts into a Star Wars Wii game.
Hannibal Posted August 18, 2006 Author Posted August 18, 2006 Ubi would be better off putting their efforts into a Star Wars Wii game. Somebody is going to do one. I have a DS Lite and the screen is so small the only games I could se playing on it are puzzle games, etc. I couldn't see playing an action game on it. The PSP has a nice sized screen but I just don't want one.
El Sitherino Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 The name is so crappy. "Lethal Alliance" Sounds like some lame marketting slogan to get some dumbass 8-year-old to think he's the **** because he's got some lame ass product that only does two things, but "it's really shiny!". It also looks kind of boring, and the idea of another robot sidekick making wisecracks pisses me off to no end.

Hannibal Posted August 21, 2006 Author Posted August 21, 2006 You haven't played Mario Kart and Metroid Prime Hunters have you... o.o Not yet. For some reason I can't force myself to by a $30 or $40 game for a handheld. I've been looking at the $19.99 games.
Prime Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Ubi would be better off putting their efforts into a Star Wars Wii game. But I don't want Star Wars: Mario's Alliance! The name is so crappy. It is better than the alternative: Unlethal Alliance.
Lynk Former Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 It's not "Mario Steel" or "Call of Duty: Mario Edition" and there was no "Resident Mario 4" either... all I meant was that because Ubi has been working on Red Steel, they would be in a good position to come up with a Star Wars Wii game than anyone else since they have a lot of experience with it.
The Doctor Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 If I ever get a DS or PSP, I might pick it up.

Ztalker Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Lethal Alliance hmm? Isn't it just Jedi Academy engine with some new tricks? I don't think it'll be anything new.. Ubi would be better off putting their efforts into a Star Wars Wii game. Agreed...now that they are responsible for 99% of the 'cool super' games (Assassin's Creed for example), they shouldn't go and make a thing like this. Gimme Wii-mote lightsaber battle!
Char Ell Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Don't own a handheld console so I won't purchase Star Wars: Lethal Alliance. Sounds like an interesting story although I always thought it was Kyle Katarn and Bothan spies who stole the plans for the original Death Star. This Twi'lek mercenary's involvement in this is news to me. Not yet. For some reason I can't force myself to by a $30 or $40 game for a handheld. I've been looking at the $19.99 games. Yeah, I would feel the same way if I owned a DS Lite.
Fiestainabox Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 You haven't played Mario Kart and Metroid Prime Hunters have you... o.o I was just about the say the same, awesome games right there. Its being Made By Ubisoft Montreal. Let me just list some games that they have released before: Far Cry Instincts Far Cry Instincts Evolution Far Cry Predator Splinter Cell Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Splinter Cell Double Agent Splinter Cell Essentials (Not to sure about this one) This pretty much guarantees that the game is going to be awesome.
HerbieZ Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 It is better than the alternative: Unlethal Alliance. aka Kitten Alliance.
chubbslegend Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Ill just rent it for a week and beat it, ive had the PSP since Christmas and i rarely use it. I just wanna get some use for the damn thing!!
