I like both, but if I had to choose, I would take Kyle Katarn, simply because he is in more games and he isn't the perfect Jedi unlike Jaden. If Jaden follows the Light Side, s/he is a Jedi Boffin, while Dark Side they seem to be more interesting, even though OI always do Light Side. Both are good for Fanfics though. Enough of my ramblings and vote here! Note: I'm also putting this in the KOTOR Forum.

Jaden has none... and he's just a bit too perfect, like others said. "Oh! Look at me! I built a lightsaber and I'm not a Jedi." See? That's his/her entire backstory. Kyle, ftw!

(the cheat is iknowkungfu) I like Kyle's voice acting much better than Jaden's, especially male Jaden (it's worst when he says "oh no, this is only the beginning!"). Plus, Jaden has never had live-action cutscenes. DFII:JK ftw!
