Jason Skywalker
Well, Holloway would play a good cocky renegade Jedi or Sith.
Char Ell
Kristin Kreuk is hawt! It would be interesting to see her in a role other than Smallville's Lana Lang. I need to rent Earthsea to see what her acting is like because I don't see her as a very dynamic actress.
The Source
Josh Holloway from Lost and Kristin Kreuk from Smallville are been look at for roles on the new Starwars T.V. series. This must be the end of the world.
HerbieZ
Don't be so pessimistic. At least they are actors, hopefully they will compensate for the fact that Madonna is going to play a role in the new series and she happens to be the worst actor that ever existed. But after Hayden Christensen's acting in Star Wars im half and half.

Jeremia Skywalk
I think this would be squeezing too much out of star wars.
igyman
But after Hayden Christensen's acting in Star Wars im half and half. Now, that guy is a disaster to Star Wars. Why in the world did they decide to let him play the role of Anakin is beyond me. Btw, I too would like to know if there's a link to something about the SW TV series, because this is the first time I've heard something that sounds like it'll actually be made. Q
GL's abysmal direction (as I've said before in the OT forum: "master of the single take") and his lackluster writing of the screenplay (as I also said in the OT forum: "master of the English language ) are as much to blame for those agonizing scenes in Ep's. II&III as Hayden Christiansen's (lack of) acting skill. Just rent the film "Shattered Glass" and see for yourself. While not a great actor, he's not a bad one either. Check out the scenes in the prequels involving otherwise terrific actors like Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor awkwardly stumbling over their lines and one comes to the conclusion that it's something other than a lack of acting ability that made those scenes so god-awful. The reason my favorite film of the saga, ESB, is my favorite is because GL neither directed it nor wrote the screenplay for it, and it shows. And lastly, before I run and hide from the hordes of verbal gun-toting GL fanboys, I must admit that yes; Kristin Kreuk is HAWT!
Char Ell
Is there a link to this anywhere?Excellent question! I couldn't find anything credible on the subject, only some obscure references on the starwars.com forums. So maybe there is nothing to this but wild speculation. Oh well, the thread title did say it was a rumor. Oh yeah. Did I mention that Kristin Kreuk is H-A-W-T?
milo
I wasn't even aware of a Star Wars TV series. Is it official, or a rumor?
90SK
It's definitely official. But I don't think there's any official info as to the content, save the time period.
HerbieZ
Actually it is true that Hayden is a fairly decent actor but it did'nt help having terrible dialogue in the last film. I did'nt notice it at first but when the emporer says "Now you will experience the full power of the darkside" it has to be the cheesiest line ever. plus it makes no sense as it implies he's been holding back. Im starting to see why prequel is better than sequel now.

Commander Obi-Wan
OK, so maybe I have been living on an island by myself for a whole, this is the first I have heard about a show. Can someone please fill me in? There is a thread of the animated series post by ChAinz.2da. EDIT: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?t=171299 The other one I think is with real actors and it takes place between Episode III and Episode IV. Go check out the Star Wars section of LucasForums to get more info.
