Char Ell
The home page at lucasarts.com has a member poll in which you can vote for your favorite LucasArts PC game from the following: - Star Wars: Empire at War - Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Star Wars Battlefront - Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast - Star Wars Republic Commando - Star Wars Galaxies This poll is obviously tied to the Star Wars: The Best of PC compilation on DVD-ROM that just got released on Nov. 21 as these are the exact games contained on it. I believe you have to be a registered member of lucasarts.com in order to cast a vote and the poll closes on Nov. 28. Click HERE to go to the LucasArts website. Last time I checked KotOR was far ahead of all the other games.
Sabretooth
Aw, darn. I was hoping you'd start a poll on this. As far as the above list is concerned, KotOR goes far beyond everyone else, for reasons innumerable. If only they had ironed out all the bugs earlier, it would have been a truly spectacular thing. As for second, I'd say Republic Commando and Jedi Outcast are both equally great games. If LA is considered as a whole, the greatest game they made would have to be Monkey Island 1 & 2. Nothing comes close to them.
Diego Varen
TSL for me, since I play it alot, despite it being a lot more unpopular than KOTOR. Second would be Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb (On PS2 mind). But out of those, I'd say KOTOR and second would be Jedi Outcast and Battlefront. Inyri
Meh, all of LA's real best PC games got the shaft. TIE Fighter, Dark Forces (and Dark Forces 2), SotE... Their intentions with this poll are a bit self-serving, as they can't make money off of the older games anymore. While KotOR is a great game, and would certainly be my vote out of that list, it's not LucasArts' best game by a long shot. It's just too short to qualify. I'd have to vote for TIE Fighter, myself, very closely followed by Dark Forces 2. Two very long, in-depth games that really set a standard that has unfortunately been swept aside by games like Empire at War.

HerbieZ
Dark Forces 2 then Kotor.
Emperor Devon
Easily KotOR, followed by JO and with BF just barely behind it. Odd that they didn't include the sequels for those games. Other than JA's storyline, they were all just as good (if not better than) the first ones.

CSI
KOTOR 1 and 2, Republic Commando, JO, JA(You omitted it), then the last one is Battlefront 1 and 2.

Though the whole of the X-Wing & TIE Fighter series would be my #1 vote.

Sabretooth
No Dark Forces/Dark Forces II/Mysteries of the Sith? I liked Dark Forces, though DFII bugged me. I don't know clearly why, and I actually loved the games level design and super-speed, but it kept biting me in the head, for some reason. Eventually, I got so frustrated, I deleted it. I liked Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy though. They were really worthwhile.
Darth InSidious
They were pretty good, but the storyline for JA felt pretty much like it was 'cash-in on the characters and locations of the OT-time!', IMO...
Char Ell
Odd that they didn't include the sequels for those games. Other than JA's storyline, they were all just as good (if not better than) the first ones. Would you still think it's odd if LEC decides to release a Best of PC II that included JA, TSL, Battlefront 2 etc. at the end of 2007? Maybe they won't but seems to me that LucasArts has positioned themselves to do just that if they so choose. Meh, all of LA's real best PC games got the shaft. TIE Fighter, Dark Forces (and Dark Forces 2), SotE... Hasn't LEC already released compilations of its X-Wing and TIE Figher games in the past? Also, since I've never played X-Wing or TIE Fighter I was wondering, are those games Windows 2000/XP compatible out of the box?

Negative Sun
KotOR, and it's in the lead with 42% right now... If anyone at Lucasarts is awake they'll realise they BLOODY F***ING WELL MAKE KOTOR 3 DAMMIT!!! OK I'm cool now...

Phantom Joker
Also, since I've never played X-Wing or TIE Fighter I was wondering, are those games Windows 2000/XP compatible out of the box? Unless there was an update that I'm not aware of, I don't think that they are. Which is a shame. TIE Fighter has to be my all time favorite Star Wars title. If you allow the whole range of LEC titles, I'd go with...hrmm...probably Day of the Tentacle.
Astrotoy7
seriously though, apart from bankrolling and perhaps concept design by Lucasarts, how much of the goodness that is KOTOR is down to the brilliance of BioWare....??? BioWare pwnz your souls mtfbwya Amen to that, Astro. But it was still based in a fantasy universe created by LucasArts, and well, LA published it, being a SW license. I believe the poll is on the best game published by LA, and not just made by LA.
