Commander Obi-Wan
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows I am anticipating reading this book, and I think it's going to be best of the seven. At least for me, every book gets better.
Det. Bart Lasiter
I was hoping for something along the lines of "Harry Potter Dies In a Fire", although "Deathly Hallows" doesn't bode well for him either.
BongoBob
Wow, you still care about harry potter? I stopped when I finally go t the picture. I mean, nobody falls asleep twice in the same movie. at seperate time intervals. Also when I was sick and threw up on one of the books, never wanted to pick it up again. Never finished it, never continued the series. :/ That's a pretty tacky/arrogant sounding way to say you don't like Harry Potter, and it was uncalled for. Myself, I never got into Harry Potter. But to the fans... SNAPE KILLS DUMBELDORE!
DarthAve
Bah, kids today and their hip-hop music. 1. I don't like hip-hop. It's vulger 2. No offence if I sounded rude, but that kinda what lost it for me. The movies lost their excitement for me a prizoner of askaban(My dad too, he's the one that fell asleep)And askaban was the book I threw up on in the middle of it....maybe it's that fact that I had just picked up Book 1 of A Series of Unfortunate Events and my attention was diverted. Maybe book 3 just sucked, maybe Ron got way less hot, we'll never know. But Book 3 lost me. 3. That's still a sweet book title. SOMEONE WILL DIE POSSIBLY 4. SNAPE KILLED DUMBLEDOR? Wow, did NOT see that one coming.
IG-64
I loved the books a lot, and plan on reading them again just before the new book comes out. It really is a great series, and no one should knock it 'till they've tried it. I didn't like the movies as much, but the first one is my favorite because it was the most like the book, and it had the full John Williams score. As for the new title, I knew it would be something no one would guess, because the titles of the other ones all had something to do with something new that happens in the book. ET Warrior
I love Harry Potter books. Not a fan of the movies at all, but the books are pretty ace. The last couple have been really gripping, so I'm hoping the final will bring the series to a close in a most awesome fashion. Also, Harry Potter Knocking should stay out of this thread. It doesn't seem to be a thread about "Do you like Harry Potter or not OMGZ!!!1!" so no need to bring that kind of discussion in here. edit - that is now a different thread in the Swamp, so take your discussion there. MrWally
she nneeds to write more books after 7 Yeah, just like Lucas should make more Star Wars movies? [/sarcasm] She's just doing it for the money now. She could completely screw over the last book and still make a fortune and she probably wouldn't care. IG-64
She's just doing it for the money now. Definitely not true. She had the entire story planned from the beginning. In fact, the last chapter of the last book was one of the first things she ever wrote. Plus, all the books say the school requires 7 years (a book is a year). If she wanted money, she would sell the 7th book prematurely at an auction for the $340869722657347 it would go for. People who write good books write for the books, not for the money. Pho3nix
Meh. I didn't like that title so much, but I'm still pretty hyped. Not sure if It's going to be the best book, we'll see....

Mike Windu
I think the title blows. Love the books, love the films. 6 was lacklustre imo. 4 and 5 are my favorites.
Acrylic
To me, the series gets better and better. 1, 2, and 3 are kind of an intro to the series. 4 is where the action starts building up, but 5 and 6 is where the ultimate goodness is at. Lets hope #7 will be the ultimate book, the ultimate closer to a wonderful series thats kept me hooked for years!

The series gets better as it goes on and I hope it's no different with this book. I'm a big HP fan, I've read all the books 4 times each except the most recent one, so I'll be all over this when it comes out. And I like the title, maybe it's foreshadowing what's coming in the book...

Dagobahn Eagle
I just know everything's going to go to Hell, especially after Dumbledore's death, which is bad. But it's Harry Potter, such a great series in such a great universe, so yes, I'm going to read the book. My #1 question apart from "how will it end" is "will the next book take place at Hogwarts at all?". I just can't picture them going "OK, the Second Great War is starting, all Hell is breaking loose, so-o-o off to school you go. This year your Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher will be Jack Chick. Have fun. And "doing it for the money"? When her fortune already rivals that of Queen Elizabeth? I doubt it:p. Jeff
Ten bucks says Harry dies. She has hinted at one of the major characters dying, but I doubt it's Harry. People will riot if that happens I'm guessing it will be one of the Weasleys, but I dunno. I hope the main 3 live through it all.
Dagobahn Eagle
Ten bucks says Harry dies.No ****. She says she's considering ending the series in such a way that prevents anyone from continuing it without her consent, ie. ripping her off (which is an exceedingly arrogant statement seeing the series itself is a rip-off in the first place:rolleyes:, but let's not get into that). Doesn't sound good.

Alegis
Harry Potter 1-3 were great fun. Then it went downhill. Or I just grew older. Not too sure about this one, last 2 were a bit of a letdown. But I'll read it.
