MdKnightR
What's with the scar? I thought peter can use claire's powers to heal himself! Good point! I didn't think about that while I was watching it. But then again, that timeline seemed to be different, so maybe he didn't meet her in it. Also, I very much agree that Claire should stay a brunette!!! Yowza! tk102
that timeline seemed to be different, so maybe he didn't meet her in it. It's a bit inconsistent, but I suppose the logic was: Without future-Hiro's warning, future-Peter had never sought out Claire and had never gained her power. Sylar had killed her. The inconsistent part is that there exists a future-Claire because present-Peter had received the warning. It seems that if future-Claire exists, she would know future-Peter and he would thus have her power to heal. There are other theories too. http://boards.nbc.com/nbc/index.php?showtopic=747828
Negative Sun
Anyone seen the finale? Dunno when it was aired in the States... WTF??? I though Peter had taken Nathan's ability to fly as well as everyone else's...So why could he not fly away by himself and explode somewhere in Antarctica? Hiro was great as usual Can't wait for series 2!!! Haven't been this excited about a series in a long time, being a huge superhero fan myself (everything from Superman to Spider-Man, through Batman and X-Men, including the Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer, and let's not forget the Avengers or th Punisher) Discuss! Gargoyle King
I love it, almost as much as lost, it's very wierd - but then again different is always good! I think the characetrs work really well inside what is a totally unbelievable world so kudos for the creators for doing such a fine job on season 1. tk102
Finale in the states was at least a month ago. I suppose in answer to your question NS, Peter must have been out of control of his powers at the time, obviously. Perhaps it required all his concentration to simply not explode. Had to say, I loved the scenes of Sylar painting and the "I know you're there, Peter" scene. Anyway the teaser for the next season seems a pretty big departure. This season wrapped up fairly tightly so it will the writers will have the work cut out for them to keep interest levels high.
EnIgmA_XX
actually, i think they already have their script. i remember reading about heroes on the newspaper awhile back. the creator was basically disscusing how lucky they are to have come before shows like lost and 24, which after some great seasons, were kinda reduced to go nowhere story plots; probably because they just totally ran out of ideas. the creator i think was talking about how they've planned ahead, and so they have enough script and surprises to last for some seasons. Kinda like what Straczynski did with Babylon 5 then, sounds promising! Lost and 24 were never good anyways... igyman
I started watching the show recently and I think it looks very interesting, kind of like X-Men vs. The X-Files. The characters are pretty good and I'd have to say Hiro is my favorite, because he's a comedy relief most of the time, but shows a more serious side every now and then. I thought it was pretty cool that there were scenes in the Montecito (the fictional casino from the ''Las Vegas'' TV show), but it makes me wonder how, if they even decide to bother with it, will they fit Mr. Linderman into the ''Las Vegas'' storyline (could he be some future temporary owner of the casino?). I'm also wondering what that helix symbol represents.
tk102
Looks like I'm going to get sucked into this season also. The stories of the all characters seem interesting and there is still a good amount of discovery going on. Evidently Sylar will be returning according to Wiki and some teasers that NBC has put together. Have no idea yet how they'll bring him back. Equally mysterious is that neither Nathan nor Peter are dead. Just a sidenote: For anyone who saw the second episode ("Lizards") tonight, did the social issues come across as a bit ... overt? We got some sympathetic illegal aliens crossing the border and some positive commentary on stem cell research in the span of 10 minutes.

Actually, I didn't even think about that, but since you mentioned it, yea, I suppose you're right. I just got into the show myself. I bought the first season on DVD about a week ago on a whim and watched it in two days. I loved it, so now I have my DVR set to record the new episodes. This show is great! Claire and Hiro are my favourites. I love the humor they are able to put in their stories like Claire waking up in the morgue or chopping off her own toe. heh Hiro is just as great, but I really wanted the waitress to survive... I love where he is now though and the ending of Lizards was great. Oh, and the fake sword! That was awesome when he pulls it out all heroically but its only the hilt. HA! It seems that any time a series does remotely well in it's first season it's producers see fit to turn it into a propaganda piece the second they realize that enough people are watching it. Just when I was actually getting interested in this show after watching the first season reruns. Crap. Whatever happened to entertainment without a political agenda? tk102
^^ Hey Q, for the record it's not all like that... so far the 2nd season's entertainment value has far exceeded the propaganda. No if I was going to ask for something to change it would be the number of heroes... it seems like normal people are pretty rare in this series, and just when you think someone's normal -- nope they've got a power too. It kind of loses the surprise factor there.
igyman
I've seen the season two premiere and I think it managed to retain the quality that season one had. I really liked the mysterious scary voice that's stalking Molly Walker in her dreams. I wonder if he and the guy who killed Hiro's father are the same person, or connected in some way. I really liked the mysterious scary voice that's stalking Molly Walker in her dreams. I wonder if he and the guy who killed Hiro's father are the same person, or connected in some way. the guy that killed Mr. Nakamura is just a guy who works for the person that is in Molly's dream, because remember he said "I didn't think they would send you" or something like that. and that picture looks like it connects to 8 other people and they probably were the Heroes before and had club. but the guy that Molly sees is the leader of the opposing Club. Like Sylar vs. Peter. I thought the guy that killed Mr. Nakamura was Sylar, but what do i know
Negative Sun
Just seen the first two episodes of the new series and it pwns! It builds well on the last series IMO, and Hiro's trip to the past is a very refreshing storyline...As is Peter's appearance in Ireland.
King Dando
I love Heroes. I chose to watch the first 2 episodes on a whim and I've been hooked ever since. I would get the Heroes Season One boxset on DVD when it comes out, but its £41! That's just the Amazon.co.uk price. I'm not paying that much for a boxset no matter how mind-numbingly awesome it is. Its good to see Christopher Eccleston in it too. I was hoping at least one english guy would show up sooner or later

Diego Varen
I'm currently watching it (in the UK, it airs on Wednesday nights on BBC 2) and it is a good series, alongside Doctor Who.
Jason Skywalker
Heroes is tha sexay. I'm liking the new storylines, especially Peter's. The Ireland setting just feels so good to be true. And btw, it seemed like: Sylar absorbed Maya and Alejandro's powers. WTF? Wikipedia has him as having an intuitive aptitude.
