8.5 million players worldwide would disagree, methinks...

Besides, though I've never played WoW, even I can see it's fun from just watching this: http://www.break.com/index/leeroy.html :D

The forget to mention that alot of those accounts are duplicates of the same player... and then theres all the gold farmers. So a more correct figure is probly something like 4mil...

Youd have to actually play the game for a length of time just see how badly the game is run, and how boring it gets.

Heck, even with its lag, and the random bugs, lotro is more fun than warcrack.

Will there be a console version of StarCraft II?

StarCraft II is being developed for the PC. We have no current plans to bring the game to any console platform.

Suh-weet! Looks like Starcraft II will be a PC-exclusive. After not getting any love from BioWare for Mass Effect and LucasArts for The Force Unleashed it's nice to know there is at least one game I'm interested in playing that will be available for PC. :D

3:00 - FMV sequence in a spaceship - looks Terran - zooming in on a metal door - door opening - reveals a guy with a cigar in chains - prisoner - door shuts behind him - there's so much bass the room is shaking - guy steps into some kind of metallic devicce - legs are strapped in - guy rising toward ceiling - Korean text on screen got people very excited - another part of the machine is dropping metal arms on him - machine whirring - applying armor to his torso - extremly detailed visuals here - now guy is strapping on gloves - armor is molding together - seems like a Terran marine - rockets turn on - zerg now onscreen - Marine delivers a line - StarCraft 2 officially announced. StarCraft 2 will be an RTS largely in the same vein as its predecessor. The game will feature the same three races: Protoss, Zerg, and Terran. Action will unfold on the same type of 2D plane as before, with multitiered maps that ground units must use ramps to move between. Graphics have been updated significantly, many new units added, and some old units removed. Blizzard was unwilling to divulge much about how the Zerg and Terran forces have changed, but shed some light on the new developments for the Protoss. Story specifics are still being kept under wraps, though from the concept art it seems Kerrigan will somehow be involved. The game will release "when it's done" for PC and Mac only. It's currently in pre-alpha stages of development, and has been in production at Blizzard since the release of WarCraft 3: The Frozen Throne in 2003. [link]

Ah, finally! Starcraft is back!
