Samnmax221
Well what do you think about this? EDIT:I think it work rather well in conjunction with this.
Darth333
I'd put the heavier fruits & vegetables like lettuce at the lower stories level and the lighter ones like strawberries and wheat at the top stories level...less dangerous when someone decides to throw them at someone ...sorry, it's Friday afternoon...maybe I'll think of something intelligent to post later "fresher lettuces to boot" fed with CO2... Titanius Anglesmith
I've always liked my fruits and veggies with a taint of pollution.
Gargoyle King
ROLMAO!! What the hell is that thing?! Wow, architecture is getting more & more inventive these days; still, atleast it's eco-friendly! Perhaps this is the West's answer to sorting out the Global Warming problem, by having plant-ridden buildings everywhere! (joke, still it's good to give back to mother nature now isn't it )
Aash Li
Riiiiiight... and who they going to get to farm those skyscraper terraces? I sure wouldnt do it... I can just imagine if those chickens got loose...
REDJOHNNYMIKE
Do they have money trees, pizza plants or mountain dew fountains?
Bob Lion54
Well... I think its safe to say that Toronto will be able to proudly boast "We have the Worlds Largest Chia Pet!" for a long time.
HerbieZ
That's pretty cool, although im dubious about light tubes. I have been into a few houses with those sort of fittings instead of normal lights and the owners themselves have agreed with me that they are awful and let in little amounts of light. Char Ell
I like the concept of green roofs. I'm not sure how well this concept would work on a sky scraper though I'm very interested to find out, if this does come to fruition (pun intended ). Jae Onasi
Well... I think its safe to say that Toronto will be able to proudly boast "We have the Worlds Largest Chia Pet!" for a long time. It does give new meaning to "pie in the sky", doesn't it?
Hallucination
It's good to know the Centre of the Universe is working on a target for the next time farmers complain about a lack of government support during a drought. Silly Manitobans thinking there would be water in a prairie.

I'm still trying to track down some information on what the difference is between growing plants under natural and artificial light.
mur'phon
I'm still trying to track down some information on what the difference is between growing plants under natural and artificial light. The diference is small enough that they use artifical light on the "plant-lab" I'm working on, so it shouldn't be a problem
