Endorenna
Cold. When it drops 5 degrees between eight o'clock in the morning and noon, and it's snowing constantly, you know its cold. Wish some of the snow would stick. Right now all it's doing it making me miserable when I take the dog out. -_-
Chevron 7 locke
I had to shovel both the driveways today...under the snow it was nearly solid ice
The Doctor
You don't know the meaning of cold until you've been to Finland. Orly? Canada gets damned cold too, y'know. it's sorta cold here in Arizona, it hovers around 16C here, not too bad, at home in Hawaii it's still probably in the mid-20's celsius. Better question, Neg Sun do you still have that pimpin' beanie? New rule: if the temperature in your area doesn't dip below 10 degrees Celsius, you don't get to complain about the cold. Rev7
I live in San Diego. So tell me, what is it like to having changing seasons? It is quite beautiful. I have come to really like all of the seasons. Each one is unique, and you really come to look forward to seeing them change. I will have to snatch a picture of this really pretty tree in my backyard that turns white in the spring. It is really beautiful. I do the the Mediterranean weather that most of California has though.
jawathehutt
I learned an important lesson today that my moccasins have absolutely no traction in ice or snow what so ever. It was a reasonably painful lesson but at least nothing was broken.
Jae Onasi
It's too cold when you inhale and your nostrils freeze shut. It's too hot if the air you breathe out is cooler than the air you breathe in. The rest is all commentary.
Darth333
C'mon you, Northern hemispehere Athonauts, stop complaining (or bragging )...real winter isn't even here yet! (no it's not me on the pic, I don't have a beard or mustache and will (hopefully) never have one!) In any event, sunbathing on the beach in Nunavik (Inuit "country") is the best! (I love the very North, despite its climate)
Commander Obi-Wan
Orly? Canada gets damned cold too, y'know. QFT. Mind you, it's been fairly decent so far over yonder. We've had about 2 days of snow thus far into the "winter" season. We should have snow by now.
The Doctor
We've had snow pretty much non stop for almost two weeks now, with the temperature rarely breaking any higher than -5 degrees Celsius. Compare that to year before last, where we had near-summer weather reaching into mid-November, and got no snow until well into January.

Mav
Course I do, what else would get me loads of action with the ladies? I thought it was the good ole lost dog routine that got you the ladies, not the hat I live in San Diego. So tell me, what is it like to having changing seasons? 'fraid I can't help you there True, being from Hawaii, I'm unfamiliar with the concept as well. Though from what I can tell the changing seasons hasn't made me consider a permanent move C'mon you, Northern hemispehere Athonauts, stop complaining (or bragging )...real winter isn't even here yet! Jae Onasi
Geez, you people are wimps. It's going down to 10 degrees F tonight (-12C). Put some longjohns on, get a hat, gloves, and scarf and parka, wear a wool sweater and warm socks, and you're fine. At least you're not living in the Arctic circle.
