True_Avery
Been a long while since this was posted. Considering this is one of the best tests out there, I thought I would post this again at the border between this year and 2008 to see if you've changed at all. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myers-Briggs_Type_Indicator Test: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp My Results: INFP Healer Idealist - Very expressed introvert INFPs live primarily in a rich inner world of emotion. - Distinctively expressed intuitive personality INFPs engage the outside world primarily with intuition, adept at seeing the big picture, sensing patterns and the flow of existence from the past toward the future. - Moderately expressed feeling personality This function gives INFPs a natural inclination toward absent-mindedness, and makes them more easily distracted. - Moderately expressed perceiving personality This function helps INFPs focus on external details, but being the inferior function requires the expenditure of energy, so it's not often used. http://www.keirsey.com/handler.aspx?s=keirsey&f=fourtemps&tab=3&c=healer http://typelogic.com/infp.html http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/INFP As Perceivers they tend to withhold judgment and delay important decisions, preferring to "keep their options open" should circumstances change. INFPs tend to be quiet and reserved, preferring to interact with a few close friends rather than a wide circle of acquaintances, and expending energy in social situations. INFP makes up only 1% of the human population, and tend to feel more isolated from the rest of humanity than other personalities. Artists, they prefer the world of imagination to reality or find ways to live in both. They tend to be very open minded and neutral, constantly changing opinions based on circumstances and having a loose belief system on what is "right" and what is "wrong". But, as healers, tend to follow what they believe to be "good". INFPs can masquerade in a ESTJ business suit, but not without expending considerable energy. Under stress, INFPs can reverse their personality type from introverted to extroverted. Examples: Princess Diana Joan of Arc Mary, mother of Jesus

Ctrl Alt Del
ENTP Extraverted 33 Intuitive 12 Thinking 12 Perceiving 56 I am: moderately expressed extravert slightly expressed intuitive personality slightly expressed thinking personality moderately expressed perceiving personality http://typelogic.com/entp.html "Clever" is the word that perhaps describes ENTPs best. The professor who juggles half a dozen ideas for research papers and grant proposals in his mind while giving a highly entertaining lecture on an abstruse subject is a classic example of the type. So is the stand-up comedian whose lampoons are not only funny, but incisively accurate. ENTPs are usually verbally as well as cerebrally quick, and generally love to argue--both for its own sake, and to show off their often-impressive skills. They tend to have a perverse sense of humor as well, and enjoy playing devil's advocate. They sometimes confuse, even inadvertently hurt, those who don't understand or accept the concept of argument as a sport. ENTPs are as innovative and ingenious at problem-solving as they are at verbal gymnastics; on occasion, however, they manage to outsmart themselves. This can take the form of getting found out at "sharp practice"--ENTPs have been known to cut corners without regard to the rules if it's expedient -- or simply in the collapse of an over-ambitious juggling act. Both at work and at home, ENTPs are very fond of "toys"--physical or intellectual, the more sophisticated the better. They tend to tire of these quickly, however, and move on to new ones. ENTPs are basically optimists, but in spite of this (perhaps because of it?), they tend to become extremely petulant about small setbacks and inconveniences. (Major setbacks they tend to regard as challenges, and tackle with determin- ation.) ENTPs have little patience with those they consider wrongheaded or unintelligent, and show little restraint in demonstrating this. However, they do tend to be extremely genial, if not charming, when not being harassed by life in general. In terms of their relationships with others, ENTPs are capable of bonding very closely and, initially, suddenly, with their loved ones. Some appear to be deceptively offhand with their nearest and dearest; others are so demonstrative that they succeed in shocking co-workers who've only seen their professional side. ENTPs are also good at acquiring friends who are as clever and entertaining as they are. Aside from those two areas, ENTPs tend to be oblivious of the rest of humanity, except as an audience -- good, bad, or potential. Some Famous ENTPs: Alexander the Great (hmmm...) Confederate General J. E. B. Stuart Sir Walter Raleigh

Samuel Dravis
How come I have 100 in intuition, or how come I think that Intuition is a chaotic trait? The first is mainly because I am awesome (although some of the questions in the test probably contributed), and the second is because intuition doesn't really care about what's supposed to be true, or supposed to happen. It just does its own thing.

SilentScope001
Too lazy so I accidently found this other test made by a friend of Jung. http://kts2.personalityzone.com Your Keirsey Temperament Sorter Results indicate that your personality type is that of The GuardianTM. Guardians are the cornerstone of society, for they are the temperament given to serving and preserving our most important social institutions. Guardians have natural talent in managing goods and services--from supervision to maintenance and supply--and they use all their skills to keep things running smoothly in their families, communities, schools, churches, hospitals, and businesses. Guardians can have a lot of fun with their friends, but they are quite serious about their duties and responsibilities. Guardians take pride in being dependable and trustworthy; if there's a job to be done, they can be counted on to put their shoulder to the wheel. Guardians also believe in law and order, and sometimes worry that respect for authority, even a fundamental sense of right and wrong, is being lost. Perhaps this is why Guardians honor customs and traditions so strongly--they are familiar patterns that help bring stability to our modern, fast-paced world. Practical and down-to-earth, Guardians believe in following the rules and cooperating with others. They are not very comfortable winging it or blazing new trails; working steadily within the system is the Guardian way, for in the long run loyalty, discipline, and teamwork get the job done right. Guardians are meticulous about schedules and have a sharp eye for proper procedures. They are cautious about change, even though they know that change can be healthy for an institution. Better to go slowly, they say, and look before you leap. Guardians make up as much as 40 to 45 percent of the population, and a good thing, because they usually end up doing all the indispensable but thankless jobs the rest of us take for granted. Then they asked me to pay money for even more tests. Guess they didn't realize I'm also a Freeloader. In a futile attempt to convert the results of this test to that of Jung, I'm making wide guesses: Introversion Sensing Thinking Judging http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISTJ

Emperor Devon
Your type is: INTJ (for 1% of the population we're sure getting a lot of them here.) Introverted: 89 Intuitive: 62 Thinking: 100 Judging: 78 * very expressed introvert * distinctively expressed intuitive personality * very expressed thinking personality * very expressed judging personality According to Myers-Briggs, INTJs are very analytical individuals. Like INTPs, they are more comfortable working alone than with other people, and are not usually as sociable as others, although they are prepared to take the lead if nobody else is up to the task, or they see a major weakness in the current leadership. They tend to be very pragmatic and logical individuals, often with an individualistic bent and a low tolerance for spin or rampant emotionalism. They are also commonly not susceptible to catchphrases and commonly do not recognize authority based on tradition, rank or title. Hallmark features of the INTJ personality type include independence of thought, strong individualism and creativity. Persons with this personality type work best given large amounts of autonomy and creative freedom. They harbor an innate desire to express themselves; that is to be creative by conceptualizing their own intellectual designs. Analyzing and formulating complex theories are among their greatest strengths. INTJs tend to be well-suited for occupations within academia, research, management, engineering and law. Differentiating the INTJ personality type from the related INTP type is their confidence. They tend to be acutely aware of their knowledge and abilities. Thus, they develop a strong confidence in their ability and talents, making them "natural leaders." It is this confidence that makes this personality type extremely rare. According to David Keirsey it is found in no more than 1% of the population. Sounds like a hallmark nerd to me. Pretty surprising how well the description fits, though. SilentScope001
You know, honestly, I just realize that such a test is flawed in that it only relies on OUR own preceptions of how we answer the questions. So, we will obivoulsy agree to what we think we are because "what we think we do in situations" can lead to "what we think we are". Surely, it would be better to have someone else look at our entire life history, answer the questions how they think WE would respond, and tell us our true Type rather than rely on us. Anyone willing to do tests for each other?
