Sharen Thrawn
It also wasn't logical to cancel Sam & Max and kill adventure games. Yeah... But LA thinks "It's LucasArts, b*tch!" unfortunately. They've been making completly illogical decisions for many years now. Watch them not making a sequel to TFU.
Da_Man_2423
George Lucas has his own army of crazed fanboys, though. The incident you describe would be a bloody, bloody, war. Wow. Wow. I feel your pain. I feel it so much, and KotoR doesn't even work on my computer anymore. No excuses, MMOing KotoRIII would be unexcusably idiotic. However, I have enough faith to believe that even if they make an MMO, they are smart enough to make a single-player #III. MMO-ing K3 (which apparently is dropping the "Knights of" part, so it doesn't have anything to do with the series besides era), would be unexcusably idiotic because LA stands to make huge profits from it? They don't care what a few die hard KotOR fans want.
TriggerGod
LA. You've done some seriously stupid decisions. Now, is one of the worst. If you pull a Halo, and make Halo 3 then Halo Wars. In this case, it would be K3 and KOTOR Wars
Arcesious
I wish LA was as open-minded to its' fans as Bungie is.
Da_Man_2423
I wish LA was as open-minded to its' fans as Bungie is. Do they have any reason to? From a business perspective? People buy their games anyway whether they're actually good or not.

Master Zionosis
Well, it also wouldn't be logical to rush the sequel to the best game of the year Hmmm, who said anything about rushing, I certainly didn't. I think everybody learned that mistake with K2
TheExile
Damn IT!!!!!! *Punches in furry the box training bag in the sport room* "I am... your FATHER" "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" >=( X( * Angry smoke puffs ouuta the nose* *TING!!!!* But what if they make a SP kotor with a Multiplayer possibility??? Seeing as how big a flop Galaxies is now, LucasArts will want to make sure that all available resources are devoted to an MMO. Single-player will not even be go through the minds of anyone I bet. Not to mention it's a lot of hard work to essentially make 2 FULLY COMPLETE games in one, which they would probably jack up the price on, and then few people would buy. adamqd
Have you even played Galaxies?? It seems to be in a lot of posts on here, lets see what Bioware can (Possibly) do with a (Possible) MMO before we make Galaxies the Benchmark for MMO parrot flame An MMO set in the Old Republic would be cool if we were the only people playing it, because were all so mature and well... better than everybody else, but the chances are there would be kids and non us people on, so lets pray for an SPRPG

Taos
Man, I'm genuinely looking forward to this. It's what I've been waiting for. Gotta agree with you 100% there Herb. At least, if this is what I hope it is. I've been waiting since November 15, 2005. A new SW mmo would be great, especially if it comes from Bioware. As long as it's nothing like SW:G is now, I'll be happy.

Master Zionosis
And as long as it isn't K3... A rather pointless post if you ask me, someone says they look forward to to a KotOR MMO and you reply with that, in fact every time someone says they look forward to a KotOR MMO someone replies with similar posts. I really don't see the point in bashing an MMO that might or might not be made. Can't people wait until it's announced to begin a flame war. Ctrl Alt Del
I really don't see the point in bashing an MMO that might or might not be made. Not saying he has a point but expressing one dislike about a game, even if it's still hypothetical isn't pointless.
Salzella
I'm just going to wait and see what happens. Is that entirely too old school of me?? I'm not hip to how the kids respond to internet rumors these days... So [not] hip you can't see your feet?

To me, his post was pointless, it was thoughtless banter and was just said to counteract with Taos's post. Also, I see no where in his post where he expresses dislike about a game.
