That game's lost all credibility over the years to the point that it's not even funny. And then the lead designer had the nerve this year to say that E3 was irrelevant to them .

jrrtoken Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 Pac-Man for the Atari 2600: Before someone crucifies me, Pac-Man itslef is an awesome game. This port is not. This game is perfect example of games rushed in development, for it seemed very unfinished, and almost felt like a prototype. For some reason, they used a 4kB ROM chip instead of the more advanced and more widely used 8 kB chip. Thus, there were limitations graphically. For example, the ghosts could only be drawn on the screen once out of every four frames, thus, the ghosts had flickering effect, just like this:
e-varmint Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 I'm debating with myselves whether this one is Hideoulsy Bad, or Inspired genius: The 3d engine is great, but who would want to spend hours on end playing something like this? But no need to go as far as to say it ruined a franchise that has 12 independent episodes on the main stream. It doesn't even ruin the seventh episode it's based upon because the story is actually pretty good... even with the massive quantity of cutscenes.

Revan 411 Posted August 31, 2008 Posted August 31, 2008 Actually, Pokemon Demand is the first and only Pokemon game I have ever played. And I liked it, it had flows, but it was good overall. Though, there are other better tittles on the DS, just not many...

My interest in that thing died out years ago...was very entertaining while it lasted though... Worst game? Story mode lasts all of three/four hours. An awful story at that...a cheap cash-in if ever there was one.
