Surely You have realized the unscrupulous attempts by other parties and their candidates to influence those who think differently with various kinds of bribery and perhaps even blackmail. Even the once noble and unbiased media of CQBC have succumbed. They now spread one message, instead of analyzing the campaign as a whole. Fellow Ahtonauts, I remain convinced this is not what you want for your future. Corruption must be rooted out and destroyed. Opinions must be respected and allowed to be heard. Yesterday, Sabretooth announced his candidacy for the presidential Lucasforums election of 2008. Today's Chicago Tribune dedicated their whole front page to provide information about this new candidate. (Thumbnail) They already compare the legendary rise of Sabretooth with the rise of another, a little less famous, foreign visionary: Barack Obama. On page 3, a nice analysis between the two is made. On page 2 however, the Tribune found something different. They dove a bit deeper into Sabretooth's past. And found something. In 1968 he received the Purple Heart for saving 3 prisoners from a Vietcong holding cell using nothing more then his fists, a cow and ducktape. Despite not being an American citizen, President Johnson awarded him the medal nevertheless. Or, as Johnson described it: "Awesome. You didn't get wounded or killed, which is a prerequisite for the medal, but it's still awesome." The four prisoners were approached to tell their story. Col. Smith, Lt. Peck and Sgt. Baracus teach us a tale about bravery, defiance, bullets and a cow named Moo. Sabretooth's Purple Heart on an old photo. As you can see, the man is awesome. Vote for him. You want it. There has been much campaigning and canvassing and paintbrushing and I am proud to state that I encourage all parties gathered here, save for that of the vile party of Darth InSidious that will send this forum to doom and that of Garfield, whichever party he is in, for he recognizes not one of the most eminent and respected members of the forum. I'm a member of the Jawa Liberation Party, and I know I haven't won miss congeniality again this year, because I stand up for what I think is right and I can't stand corruption. My friends, last night, I did not sleep. I wandered the streets in the guise of an old man, and I saw so much misery, so much poverty. It made me sad that what these people in authority call "Capitalism", "Administration" and "Moderation" have wrought nothing but misery upon we, who are poor and downtrodden. Communism is just as bad if not worse, is there corruption, thou talks about change, but the change thou preaches isn't going to end up as change it will end up turning into being more of the same. I call to you, my brothers and sisters. We do not ask you to join us, we ask you to merely support us. We merely ask you to lend us a helping hand, a spoken word of support, so that we may bring forth an age of freedom, justice, equality and the destruction of authority. Again thou talks the talk, but thou does not walk the walk, anarchy is just as bad as tyrany and anarchy leads to tyrany.. Remember, in the DSMALL, we do not have registration forms or lengthy party joining process. Everyone is a member, but have you realised this? Do we want to see Ahto filled with the sands of tatooine?
