Rogue Nine Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 With the American Thanksgiving just about three weeks away (those silly Canadians have already had theirs a month early ), I thought it would be good to see what everyone's favorite Thanksgiving food is. The poll is multiple choice, so if you like them all, check them all! As for our non-American brethren, vote anyway on which sounds the most appealing to you.
M@RS Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Turkey, Mashed potatoes, Pumpkin Pie, and Corn... Yum... ^_^
LordOfTheFish Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Stuffing. Thanksgivings the only time in the whole years it feels right to eat stuffing...
Litofsky Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Ah, the turkey! Alas, Pastrami, I still choose turkey. Coupled with mashed potatoes (and some corn on the side), you can't go wrong. Thanks to the Pilgrims for a reason to get off of school... eat awesome food... be thankful. *whistles innocently*
Rev7 Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Stuffing, corn, pumpkin pie. I don't know, I think that my family should have prime rib for dinner.
jrrtoken Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I'll bet good moolah that the original thanksgiving dinner was for celebrating the execution of a bewitched turkey.
zelda 41 Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I used to like Turkey a lot. Although this year, my parents are making Tofurkey for me. Ugh, vegetarianism sucks, Pumpkin pie. Mmmm. My brother-in-law's mother used to make a delisious pumpkin bread every year for the family. Although, she died this past May. I suppose this is going to be very tough on him, celebrating his first major holiday without her.
Commander Obi-Wan Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I pretty much like everything on the list. And right now, I'm craving some. ****in' thanksgiving was a month ago. *shakes fist*
Jeff Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I love everything on the list, but my favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner is turkey, mashed potatoes and homemade noodles. Mmm. <3
LordOfTheFish Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Stuffing, corn, pumpkin pie. I don't know, I think that my family should have prime rib for dinner. I'm in.
Hayden Kered Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I'm a stuffing guy, especially Stove Top!
Rev7 Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I'm a stuffing guy, especially Stove Top! QFT! That is the best kind! 1,000,000 awesome points
Pho3nix Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Well, if I was American and celebrated thanksgiving day, I'd prolly like turkey the most. >_>
Jasper_Kazai Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and of course, pumpkin pie.
Drunkside Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 We finns dont have this party... and to tell the truth they all sound rather bad tasting:xp: Id have to go for turkey, since i have ate that. Like ham but not as good:p
Marius Fett Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 I don't celebrate it, but Turkey is Epic Win.
LordOfTheFish Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 When you are still eating turkey sandwiches for lunch one learns to not appreciate it much.
Lynk Former Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I'm Australian so I guess I'm not welcome in this poll XD
Litofsky Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I'm Australian so I guess I'm not welcome in this poll XD As for our non-American brethren, vote anyway on which sounds the most appealing to you. On another note, I'm surprised that Pumpkin Pie is doing so well!
HdVaderII Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 STUFFING! ^^ And apple pie =3 Apple pie? What happened to pumpkins? Out of the list, mashed potatoes and stuffing is the best.
Bokken Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 Pumpkin pie. You get the guts from the Halloween Jack-O-Lanterns, freeze it, and cook it up with cinnamon.
GeneralPloKoon Posted November 12, 2008 Posted November 12, 2008 I usually have these peaunt butter squares with chocolate as a"roof", they are very good and usually only at Thanksgiving they are made just for me!
