Half-Life 2 (How is it that noone said that one yet?)

Half-Life 2 - Episode One

Half-Life 2 - Episode Two

Rayman 2

Riven

Star Wars Battlefront 2

Team Fortress 2

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

I quite agree with that selection, all of them were some of the best games I've ever played. Also:

Halo 2, {A little bit of 3 as well}

Call of Duty 2 {Not Big Red One}

Kotor 2

Red Alert 2{ a much older one}

Jedi Knight 2

Lets see...

KOTOR II TSL

Grand Theft Auto IV

Deus Ex Invisible War (Yes, I know I'm going to be flamed for saying that)

Max Payne 2

Star Wars BattleFront II

And I guess that's it. I'm not really a gamer. Don't quite play a lot of video games. Only when I have the money and interest.

did anyone know of a game by the name of Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time ??

Nah, I heard it was bad and went old fast

MGS4 was aright, but MGS3 is hands down the best in the Solid series.

The first MGS is infinitely better, in fact, it's the second best game ever made.

Serious question: How could you think 3 is better?

MGS1 is second best. MGS3 had a great combination of gameplay and style and... BIG BOSS.

In fact, MGS isn't the second best game ever if you're basing that on those top 100 lists or something. If it's based on personal opinion then that's different.

Either way, the great majority of Metal Gear fans including myself see MGS3 as the best in the Solid series.

No Zelda game will ever live up to OoT

Yeah, I'm basing it on personal opinion :D

But I still can't see how 3's better, to each their own, but nothing anyone ever says will make me think otherwise, MGS was a masterpiece, a breakthrough, nothing before it was like it, and nothing after will be like it :)

As I said, no Zelda game will ever live up to OoT :carms:

EDIT: Let me rephrase that, no Zelda game will ever be better than OoT, 'cos lets face it Majora's Mask was awesome.

I can agree to that. Though if they really did want to make a better game than OoT, all they'd have to do is combine the epic journey of OoT, the personal relationships and character interactions of MM and the style and scale of TP or TWW and they've got it.

I'm going to have to agree with Lynk as far as MGS goes, maybe it's because I didn't play MGS when it first came out, but 3 was awesome, even before they changed the camera with Subsistence, MGS3 was amazing, boss fight with The End, awesome.

As far as Zelda goes, I still think A Link to the Past is the best, I'm probably the odd one out with that opinion, but I stand by it. Not like either MGS or Zelda are the best games ever anyway, that honor belongs to Chrono Trigger.
