Blix
On Planets (or moons) from either KI or KII: TSL, where would you live and why? I have a few; Manaan is my 1st choice because I love the music (it adds to the atmosphere so much), and the fact that it is a water planet. Tatooine is my 2nd choice I know it's a dray barren expanse of desert but I really like the idea of 4-wheeling or in this case Dewbacking or riding on Banthas through the desert blasting womp rats. Kashyyyk is my 3rd choice, I really like how the trees are are so huge that entire villages can settle on their boughs. The shadowlands is a creepy and mystical area of the world and is one of my favorite areas in the game. Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Rakata Prime is my 4th choice (actually more like 2nd), I love how it is a beautiful tropical planet with big beaches and interesting looking ruins. I would live in the Ancient Temple if I lived on Rakata Prime. Taris, I just like the music and the city. I also think it's cool that you have three levels to explore (if you're a Jedi or warrior). Telos, I like the little apartment complexes on Citadel Station and the beaches on the first Restoration Zone reminds me of Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show) Rakata Prime . The Polar Region is pretty awesome too, the underground military base and HK50 bit was my favorite part of the game (right after Peragus).
CommanderQ
I would live on the Star Forge. It has a HUGE security team. Not to mention built-in appliances!
SW01
I'd agree with Taris, so long as it didn't have the nastiness of Sithies and orbital bombardment and suchlike. Wouldn't be good for property prices. Onderon perhaps - a nice urban area with plenty of history - though we only got to see a very small part in TSL.
Astor
Dantooine. Lots of farmland for a nice, peaceful life - and barely any people.
Lord of Hunger
Dxun, in the Mandalorian camp. As long as I earn my keep there, it'd be tight hanging out with Canderis and the Mandalorians. Plus the jungle is a perfect opportunity hone one's skill and get something to eat. My second choice though is Rakata Prime, as I can leave occassionally. That place has such a history. Totenkopf
Get rid of the kinrath and sith problems, then Dantooine would be a good place to have a ranch and nice spread of property. While the surface music for Manaan wasn't too bad (soothing is a word that comes to mind), it was too much water and the society to controlling for anything but a visit. Telos, pre-Malak, might not have been too bad, at least judging from some of the success of the restoration project. RP had a nice tropical feel to it and probably would have had an interesting night sky given how close some of the nearby planets appeared. Taris, even the upper levels, seemed kind of drab (well, it WAS in decline). Like a low-rent Coruscant. Frankly, a lot of them may have been interesting to visit, but live......not so much. jrrtoken
Nar Shaddaa, more specifically, Goto's Yacht. The deco interior design is good enough, but having your own bodyguard army of droids is even better.
redmark
Dantooine Before Malak destroyed the enclave Korribean for it history and the sith temples Manaaan look more like a tourist place then a settle down and make kids like place Telos was great but didn't see much of it , if the assassin droid don't come with the place....look good . Make Atris pay rent Tatooine too much sun Kashyyyk was beautiful , and the tree amazing remind me a bit of Dungeon Siege 2 at the beginning . The shadowlands would be a could place for young Jedi to train and test their skills
Demongo
I would live on Rakata Prime. No laws just beautiful landscape and a bunch of gizkas:D Manaan is good but it has too many laws. Kashyyyk has too much wookies:D Taris and Telos is a little..........well.....boring:o I would live on Dxun with the Mandalorians. Every day a little training and Zakkeg hunting........... And maybe, just maybe Onderon
ShinDangaioh
Yavin IV. True, we only see it from orbit on a space station, but it is livable and I'd be on the oppisite side of the planet from the tomb of Exar Kun. If not the planet itself, then be on the station Dantooine wouldn't be too bad after the Battle of Khoonda. The mercenary and Sith problem has been taken care of. The Kinrath have been knocked down a bit.
Miltiades
Manaan or Telos (in a later stage of its reconstruction, though - I'd like to go outside sometimes). Pretty peaceful planets (without any bombarding or Sith Lord sabotaging it, of course).
Blix
do you mean 'live' in real life, or to live inside the game? It's a hypothetical question like; "If KOTOR/2 were real life, what planet/moon/station/etc. would you live on?" Hope that helped Onderon perhaps - a nice urban area with plenty of history - though we only got to see a very small part in TSL. It's a shame too, Onderon has plenty of history to tell and a great subplot involving the beast riders would have been awesome. Dxun, in the Mandalorian camp. As long as I earn my keep there, it'd be tight hanging out with Canderis and the Mandalorians. Plus the jungle is a perfect opportunity hone one's skill and get something to eat. Dxun is an interesting choice, and I actually pondered it. If anything it's the tropical climate and waterfalls that would attract me there, certainly not the surly Mandalorians or the many hidden land mines :¬: Telos, pre-Malak, might not have been too bad, at least judging from some of the success of the restoration project. RP had a nice tropical feel to it and probably would have had an interesting night sky given how close some of the nearby planets appeared. That's true, I actually never thought about Telos' sky much before. Now that you bring it up it would be pretty cool to be able to see it at night, with the nearby planets illuminating the sky

I'd go back and check the approach to Telos if I could actually get the game to work. As I recall, even in broad daylight you could clearly see a planet/moon from the grounds of the Rakata temple. Now, it might be interesting post JCW to see the space station overhead from Telos's surface, provided it didn't blot out too much of the starscape. Trench
Dantooine. Its quiet and simple, I would have a farm there. I am most comfortable in a farm-like environment so Dantooine would be perfect for me.

You could make a pretty nice living as a farmer once the mercs/salvagers are dealt with. I wonder what kinds of things are available to farm on Dantooine besides wheat, maybe you could breed Iriaz or those Flying Rays? mattig89ch
Taris, years before the sith bombardment (centuries). I'd earn my keep in the arena, great place for honing ones skills. I'd just make sure that I never went against bendak and i'd be fine. Not too mention that I could practice with the rackgouls in the under city. Dantoine would be fun too. plenty of wide open spaces, make my keep working the land as a farmer. After i'd earned enough credits, i'd go to coresunt. just becuase its the capitol city of the galaxy. Darth Avlectus
Hmm. Well Ord Mantell (or I guess it's pronounced ord mandell--Red?) I particularly like the whole junkyard idea and the trains and stuff like in shadows of the empire. It's also a "wretched hive of scum and villainy" considering it is full of casinos and places to lay low when you're looking to lose a little unwanted attention. Also it is scenic and has lots of hills. Only thing about it I don't like is the pink clouds. Endor: this place actually has a bit of partiality to me. I've actually been up in the region and in fact to the general vicintiy of the place Endor was filmed at for ROTJ. Other than several disagreeable issues I won't get into the redwoods are a great place--worth seeing at least once before you die. So, endor is planet of the redwoods. Also, I happen to know one of the dwaf actors who played stunts and roles of several ewoks. Not that anyone cares. I might visit mustafar once or twice. Ambria sounds actually like a fairly good planet to find crystals from. Stay away from lake Natth, though. And depending upon what era you're in, I'd also keep away from anything or anyone that looks sith-ish. Alderaan: looks nice to visit. Kashyyk looks great, actually. I would not mind living there. I could respect the wooks. Since I pretty much am hairy like a wookiee and I have a good bit of skills and I was known for my strength...yeah, I could get along just fine. That's all I could think of at any rate--for now.
