Rogue Nine
Okay so the football season is only a month away and I'd thought I'd see if anyone would be interested in participating in a fantasy league. It's free and easy to play and a lot of fun, so just let me know if you're interested. I've got six, maybe seven people for the league currently and am looking for four more at the least. Rabish Bini
We're talking football as in real football (AKA soccer)? Count me in so long as it's EPL you're talkin about.

Drunkside
Lesser in your opinion perhaps... Lesser in idea i think he means... Not that im a great fan of actual football (yes its actual football cause feet are used to move the ball) but i never just understood the whole idea. I mean, if they want to crush other peoples bones and/or cause themselves brain injuries they could just come here, go to a bar and start screaming" _put the city youre in here_ sucks and its every inhabitat is gay!" Or start a new hobby. Like boxing or MMA or okinawan karate...

Rogue Nine is talking about the Real In-Your-Face Manly Football, not the 'kick-the-ball-around-the-field-for-an-hour-like-maniacs' wimp version. Wimpy Oh, you mean Rugby? Yet another sport which doesn't deserve to be called "football" because of how little it has to do with the feet. JediAthos
I played when I was younger...and I will watch if the U.S. national team is involved, but that's about as far as I go. I'd never go to a game...at least not one outside the U.S. too much of a chance I'd get trampled in a riot. @OP: like I said before Rogue Nine...give me a shout if you still need more people. Salzella
my fantasy football turned out pretty good actually. thomas vermaelen scored on his debut, and cesc fabregas got two goals and two assists, but even with all that louis saha got a late consolation and he was my other striker. happy days. in addition, all but one of the teams i picked from won, netting a few extra points from that. oh and city beat the bumpkins from blackburn 2-0. all good. o wait

Mandalore The Shadow
Yes so much intellegence you kick the ball around and then into a big net YAY fun but in American (real) Football you get to beat up on other people and play a bame with more rules than: Kick it with your feet and Don't Tuch It With Your Hands! I like (real) Football and have played it for 6 years. But more on topic mabey next year.

Mav
There is a reason why it's the worlds most popular sport by far.Yes and one could argue that one of the primary reason's is that it is a very cheap sport to play. All you need is a ball and a goal and the goal doesn't even need to be a fancy box with a net, it can be as simple as two rocks spaced apart. Whereas in the case of traditional American football, there is a lot of equipment required, even in baseball there is much more required equipment. But what I'm saying is that American, and Australian 'football', shouldn't be called football. What I can't stand people like Mandalore the Shadow who think the only futbol (soccer) rules are "Kick it with your feet and Don't Tuch It With Your Hands!" and proclaim it's a simple game with no intelligence required and American football is the 'real' football.
