GonkH8er Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 I've only got 2 games I've ever been severely creeped out from. Alien vs Pred.... very atmospheric game. Thas some scary stuff and the other one, was one i used to play about 12 years ago.... and i dont have it anymore. It's called "The last half of darkness" god that game scared the hell outa me...... Anyone got it or played it? What about you guys? What games gave you the heeby jeebies?

ShockV1.89 Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Aliens vs Pred was the only one that ever really did it for me. Half-Life gave me some jumps and kept me tense for a few moments (mostly in the beginning), but nothing ever beat AvP...

RpTheHotrod Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 AvP 1 and 2 was great. Undying was awesome too...but I've never really played a game that scared me....not even a movie. Boring sometimes to be that way well...in AvP 1, if you didn't notice a facehugger, and it got cha, it would scare the CRAP out of you with that sound and sudden facehugger on your screen. I never did get purposly face-hugged though, but once, I wanted to see what would happen, so I let it get me.

Damn I'll rather fight the Nazis then those zombies. Those things were everywhere. The greatest to scare me *Drum rool* DooM III: The zombies come from dark corners and they don't stop coming back up. The Pink demons or (Pinkies) Scared the hell outta me. The imps scare me. But that is so damn scary I had to put a rock song on.

Even when I knew they were there I still jumped a mile when they came out. The Thing looked pretty cool - but I heard it was a little too short. I think I will rent it - but I still have to get through Bounty Hunter first.

Zombies would actual climb out of graves behind you in cemeteries and it would be too late by the time they have hit you... Even the cutscenes were scary - and AWESOME mod - higly recommended (big download, assuming you can track it down again (Gamespy, I think, still holds the whole Ep1-3 version) 83 Mb)

Then a lightning strike hits.... BOOM, hes at your neck, with his teeth hanging off, then one hit with the magnum.... And his head comes straight off... Creepy..
C'jais Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Playing AvP left me a nervewreck. It's undescribable. The Aliens are so dark and fast it's not even funny. You're motion tracker is a joke. The lighting is piss poor all the time. And you only last 2 seconds in close combat with those maniacal death machines.

Lord Glorfindel Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 RTCW in the Crypt when the bridge collapses and you are surrounded by Zombies and Zombies with shields, that part and many others in the Crypt scared me out of my wits. Another kinda surprising part in Crypt 2 is when your trying to make the elevater rise, and you go into the hallway that drops a wall of spikes on you, that was more surprising then freaky though
Anubis2003 Posted January 9, 2003 Posted January 9, 2003 AvP scared me...But it's just the motion tracker that does that(and the facehuggers!)I found AvP was a better game, but AvP2 scared me more(far more suspense).
