TheHobGoblin
What were the most tragic games you ever played. Mine is: StarCraft I cried a little when Tassadar died. That guy was so dang awsome.
Dark Warrior
For me it is a no-brainer. When Aries dies in FF7. The music keeps playing as you find Jenova. I was frigin screaming at Sephiroth on the screen lol. It was the only game that impacted me and made me feel like it really happened. I had developed a bond with Aries and now she was dead. That is how it hit me. FF7 imo was one of the best games of all time.

BigTeddyPaul
LotR Fellowship game. That game is so tragic because of all its potential. It just saddens me. Oh you mean sad parts in movies. Aeries by far. When the green guy died in Legend of the Dragoons I was mad at that too because I liked him. BigTeddyPaul
AutoCept
You people cry at a game....yaaaah:rolleyes: although Tassadar dieing was kinda sad. On the other hand, games that have made me mad I can go down a list from here to New York.

I think you mean 'Aeris' though... not 'Aries'... 'Aries' is a astrological symbol.
Luc Solar
Max Payne was kinda tragic. After seeing "my" wife and kid murdered I got really pissed off. Great game.
Rogue Nine
Chrono Trigger kinda made me feel really mushy when Crono stepped in front of Lavos and got pounded and disintegrated. Of course, you can bring him back, but the death of a main character simply wasn't acceptable to me.
Lunatic Jedi
WHY DID HE HAVE TO KILL ARIES?! SEPHIROTH YOU SON OF A BITCH! I'M GOING TO STEP ON YOUR BALLS AND THEN GRIND YOUR HEAD INTO THE GROUND WITH MY HEEL! THEN I'M GOING TO CHOP YOUR LEGS OFF WITH A RUSTY SWORD AND BEAT YOU WITH THEM! SEPHIROTH YOU WILL DIE NOW! I think you can guess which game I'm talking about. Aries was such a compelling character! She was a character whom I felt I could make a genuine emotional bond with! AND THEN SHE GOT KILLED BY AN ASSWIPE!

Darth Groovy
I think Tenchu: Stealth Assasins is the definition of tragedy. Also a close second would be Silent Hill.

Great game. "kinda tragic"!!!!!!!!!! Very tragic if you ask me. His baby daughter is killed in her cot. And his wife is murdered in cold blood on her bed . nova_wolf
FF7 - Aeris... That Jenova Beast would have stood a better chance if it had gone up to Chewbacca in the middle of the night, woken him up by jamming a vibrator in his ass and said: 'OI! Furry f\/ck! I've had that carpet you call a mother, and I have to say that Id rather have boned Jar Jar's Force Lighting crisped corpse!'

Great game. I forgot to mention that one. That was one of my big time favorites. I still love that game. I was angry seeing the kid dead most of all. So little with life ended so quickly. Katarn07
Jan getting "killed" in JO was the most tragic thing in a game I've seen. Don't play to many RPGs. I have a feeling the romance in KotOR will take a turn for the worse...

Darklighter
In Metal Gear Solid, in two parts of the game. 1.) When Sniper Wolf is killed by Snake. 2.) When you get the bad ending, and Meryl dies. I think the second one was the saddest:(
nova_wolf
You want tragic - hows about: Hugo Iznogod Sims (tragic that so many people play it so much that add on like Pets and Disco parties are released and people keep buying it!)
