Acrylic
Well, since 11 Am this morning, til 2:00 PM, I sat here building the new computer desk. Me and my dad bought the computer desk, but I had to put it together. I had fun doing it, and that was the most work I did since, like, last years end of the year assignment. I had fun though. Did anybody build anything over the last few months? Just wondering to see how many hardworkers there are like me out there!
AutoCept
I built a skin! But really, I worked on building a bridge a few days ago.
Boba Rhett
I painted three large farm barns and a garage, rebuilt a shed door, steps, a fence, poured some shed slabs and part of a tennis court and helped build an office.

Pisces
I'm not one for building much, but I've been helping my dad build on a porch to a neighbors house recently (well, relatively)

Eldritch
Did you build it, or just assemble it from the parts? "Build" implies that you cut the wood pieces and then bought all the screws and such. "Assemble" is what you do when you buy furniture at the store that says 'assembly required' on the box. No matter which one you do, it's fun. (just a matter of how much fun) To answer your question, though... in the last couple weeks or so i've assembled several pieces of furniture for my younger brother, including a dresser, and computer desk, and an entertainment center. I've also assembled quite a few computers, built a couple of maps for JO (one of which i'm still working on), and built a new scratching post for my cat. I think that's about it... BigTeddyPaul
I built a pretty big computer desk myself about 6 months ago. It wasn't hard just time consuming. I would have actually been done a lot sooner BUT both my 2 electric screw drivers batteries wore out. BigTeddyPaul

Acrylic
Originally posted by Aru-Wen Did you build it, or just assemble it from the parts? I assembled it. It was fun, and there were these weird screws that looked....weird, I had a hard time assembling those to the desk....Ugh, and they were on step 1 too lol, but overall, it was a good experience. WolfmanNCSU
Congrats on your new desk. Recently, I have been working on my car (some problems in the electrical system and last week I had to replace some water hoses), and here at work we have assembled, distributed, and set up around 800 PCs to replace our old ones. Now that the migrations is done, we will be trouble shooting them and repairing/formating the old PCs for auction. [edit] Oh yeah, I forgot that I have been trying to go home when I can to help my dad with his house. He is completing remaking the entire interior. Katarn07
I have built many shelves to display my SW action figures on. Cabinets too. I built a computer desk for my room. Very small, no computer on it either. I'd love my own PC for gaming...
Tyrion
Over the last few months...(since october) Built my own computer desk too. (movable keyboard board,a cabnet, a sub-cabnet,and a cd racket). Also added and upgraded my computer(my dad did most of the putting in,though. I just watched and helped with the nails). And I helped painted a board(it's a landscape of a desert-plateua).

Surfnshannon
I helped to assemble our baby crib and our changing table. Also various baby *things that have lots of little parts and are incredibly frustrating to try and build! Especially because this will be my first baby and I don't know anything about this "stuff"
